4 day hoper pass
two kids: ages 4 and 8 months

is there anything at Epcot that they would enjoy or should we just skip it?

I think my Mom would love it (she's been but it's been a few years) but I wonder if the kids would be bored.

Thank you for all the help!!! :love2:

At those ages, I would think they would be bored. Maybe Universe of Energy and Spaceship Earth. Honey I Shrunk the Audience might be too scary for a 4 year old.

If you don't have time, I would skip it with those ages. But, if you do decide to go, the World Showcase does offer a couple of things for kids. Passports and Kidcot Fun Stops, they stop at each of the lands for each of these. Future World has some attractions that would be ok for the 4 year old, depending on what type of child he is. It also offers a wonderful fireworks show at the end of the night.

Our youngest was 3 when he first went to Epcot. Loved it from day one and still loves it. But, if you lack time, I really think you will enjoy the other parks.

There is alot to do in the front fo the park. My best tip is to do the park backwards. Hit the world showcase at 11 when it opens(most people do FW and dont get to the WS til mid afternoon). Have your 4 yr old hit all the kidcot stations, while the adults check out the pavillions. Your child will also have a great chance to meet charactures with alot of time, because noone else is around.

If you are short for time I think I might be inclined to skip Epcot for some quality time at the MK or something as equally interesting for a 4 year old.

Theres not much to do at epcot with little kids. I never enjoyed epcot when I was little and I thought it was just boring.

My kids didn't really care all the much for Epcot. They liked the Norway Viking ship ride, Test Track, Mexico boat ride and that was about it for the countries, oh yeah they did like the acrobats in China (?) They liked the front of the place better with all the computer things to do and the Ice Station Cool ( is that the name?). The most fun they had was 2 hours in the fountains! They could have stayed there all day!

I would skip it for the most part with kids that young and do it the next time you are there.

On our first trip everyone told us to skip Epcot (just had DS 7 and DD 18 mos. @that time) My children loved it! We skipped the World Showcase but even the youngest liked things like Living Seas. They are now 23 :earsboy: , 21 :earsgirl: , 17 princess: & 16 :moped: and Epcot is still one of our favorites. I would hit all of the high spots, especially since your mom would probably enjoy it. Enjoy your trip!

Maybe we're in the minority but our son(4) loves epcot...he enjoys all the kidcot stops, the attractions, and he loves the dancing water. We think it's definately worth seeing!

i am another one that is going to tell you to go. i really didn't think my DS would like epcot when he was smaller, but i really really wanted to go. we went and it turns out, it is his favorite park!!
