Am I the only one who just doesn't get into Epcot? My hubby and I have gone the past two years and we just aren't fans. Others say how wonderful it is, and I'm wondering if we're missing something lol. Anyone skip Epcot?

Different strokes.

We usually go there at least 3-4 times in a week. If staying at an Epcot resort, we might spend time in Epcot every day. It's my entire family's favorite park (although my DS 12 is starting to lean to DHS).

You will get a lot of opinions on this one, I think most people have a favorite and least favorite park. We love Epcot and usually spend 2 full days there. For us, DHS is the "take it or leave it" park.

We are like a pp. We stay at the Epcot resorts so we spend most of our nights having dinner in one of the restaurants in the countries. We usually will walk around after dinner and wander into a ride or country. We do spend the first day of our trip and the last day of our trip there also.

It depends on your preferences. My wife and I love it, it's our favorite park. Mainly because we love to eat and drink and experience different cultures etc so the World Showcase is so fun for us. But the rides are relaxing and interesting to us as well. My kids used to like this park the least but after this year (our 6th year in a row) it's become their 2nd least favorite. :goodvibes

I think Epcot came 3rd on our list of fave parks. We didn't really explore anything in Future World, spent most of the 2 days we were at Epcot wandering World Showcase, which is awesome, but a little tedious. I wish we had explored more of F.W, it probably would be more entertaining for us then:confused3

Epcot is our top pick as well... There's never enough time to do everything.

Of course, we're the couple that plays every game in innoventions, which takes hours by itself. We also find a spot in world showcase to grab a bite and play Guest bingo.

Epcot is nice because it's not typically as crowded (walk ways are wider) and it has the best variety in unique characters. Just today we met Jack Sparrow, last week was Gaston. So that all helps!

OP, I think you're going to be pretty alone with this one. I, like the rest, love Epcot!

Epcot is my favorite park, which is why I usually choose one of the Epcot resorts. I also choose to be at Epcot for my first day, and my last day. Future World has some of my VERY favorite attractions, such as: Soarin', Turtle Talk, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, and Ellen's Energy Adventure.
All of these I do over and over again.

When the day is done at ANOTHER park, I like to go to my room, wash up, and then just end the night with a brief visit to Epcot, maybe with a walk to a few "countries", and some shopping.

It is almost like being my "home base".

Epcot is our favorite park...excuse me...my favorite park

DHS...my least favorite and I could careless if I ever go back thru the gates....

Me and my husband absolutely love EPCOT :cloud9: Its probably our favourite park!

But some of my relatives are not so keen and could take it or leave it!

Like has already been said...everyone has thier favorite parks. When we go to WDW we do 3 days at both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom and 1 1/2 days at DHS and AK(and those could easily be 1 day each).

Without a doubt, EPCOT is my favorite park, I visit EPCOT at least two times a day during my visits, always ending my day at EPCOT for dinner and a last minute ride through Spaceship Earth. Order of Preference, 1. EPCOT 2. Magic Kingdom 3. Animal Kingdom 4 Hollywood Studios. My visits to HS don't last long, it all depends how quickly I can get on the Rock and Roll Coaster, Tower of Terror and Star Wars, after that I'm gone from this park.

I have to say that when I was younger this was not my favorite park. But as I get older the more I enjoy it. I dont go to EC just for the rides. We love the food and the people watching. I feel like it offers you more of an opportunity to stroll, wander the stores or just sit down with a drink and watch the people around enjoying the park. A much slower pace then the other parks. MK especially is all rush, rush to get a ride or a FP. We have learned to slow down and take in Main St. Great place to people watch.

Saying all that I know alot of families just dont enjoy EC feeling it has limited options for children. Also everyone has their different tastes, I am sure you are not the only one who shares your feelings about EC and that is ok.

DH and I love Epcot. Some of our favorite attractions are:
Soarin
Test Track
Space Ship Earth
The boat rides in Norway and Mexico
Club Cool

Most of our favorites are in future world. We are not big fans of just walking through the world showcase.

You are the absolute ONLY person on the Dis that feels this way. TOTALLY MISSING THE BOAT- what IS wrong with you?!??!!! :scared1:

Totally JK! :thumbsup2

We don't LOOOOVE Animal Kingdom, so that's our 'meh :confused3' park. We'll still go to it, but we don't spend a lot of time there. Though, we absolutely :lovestruc Epcot! I think everyone has their :rolleyes1 park and this one is yours! We, on the other hand, are at Epcot almost every single day of the trip. I don't know what it is- DH and I have just always been big fans of it!! :thumbsup2 So, if you don't like it, spend your time elsewhere- that's two less people in my way of getting on Soarin :woohoo:

:upsidedow :flower3:
