Epcot - WS which way? Timing?

I've turned to the left/Mexico so many times that if I do head to Canada (which would be when I have an ADR at Le Cellier) it feels backwards to me... but as others have mentioned either direction works. EPCOT front to back is on average a 30 minute walk, side to side is maybe 5 minutes, but going back-and-forth gets old pretty quickly.

My DH has about had a meltdown the couple of times we started in Canada! He is a creature of habit and it totally flips him out not to start in Mexico!

Just FYI for OP- walking from one end of WS to the other end is just under a mile walk. I think it is .8 mile maybe?
