The CMs on the DD phone line can’t seem to give me a definitive answer on this and I searched for this but didn’t find it on DISBoards.

We want to go to the BCV for the Cape May Café Character Breakfast. Then walk to the WS entrance of EPCOT and get in. We know that the WS doesn’t open until 11am so this could be a problem.

Can we get in the EPCOT WS entrance near the BCV before WS opens and be allowed to walk around to FW inside the park?

Yes, you can get to Futureworld from IG. There is a separate "ropedrop" for WS at 11.

Before 11am it is nice and quiet in the UK and Canada, perfect for some photos of a deserted area :)

The bridge to France will be roped off, but you can still go past UK and Canada.
I love to enter the International Gateway before 11:00 and sit on the benches by Rose and Crown watching everyone begin the day. When else can you see this-

Are you staying at the BC, if not just a reminder, if you are driving, you will be given a visitor pass for your meal of 3 hours, but you will not be given parking to access Epcot.

Ohhh.. That's how my favorite game gets there.
If there aren't any people on it, I always hop it when I go through there in either direction. Even though it embarrasses my 16 year old son. :lmao:

We are thinking of taking a cab to the BCV for the breakfast. Please give us any ideas you may have other than a cab. Is there other Disney transportation that would be just as fast? We know the resort buses are very slow and take a long time to make the loops.

We are staying in the VWL.

:scratchin .....cab is probably best.

Other than that, best I can think, and this would depend upon time of your
reservation at Cape May Buffet (if you've got an early ressie like 7:30am bus may not be running this early to DHStudios unless it is an Extra Magic Hour Morning at that park), is to take bus from VWL to DHS and then either take walkway along canal past Swan/Dolphin to YC/BC or take FriendShip from DHS - YC/BC would be 2nd stop iirc.

If it's an EMH Morning at Epcot or even regular opening time depending upon your reservation time, you ~may~ be able to utilize Disney transportation to Epcot but I'm not 100% sure if they will let you go from Future World through World Showcase to Int'l Gateway; they do allow entry through Int'l. Gateway going to FW prior to WS opening but not I'm not sure how this works "in reverse" prior to World Showcase opening (WS usually opens 2 hour later than FW)

Maybe ask on Transportation Board if you haven't already.

Best wishes

I would take the cab over and when you leave Epcot, you can take your bus back to your resort at VWL, definitely the easiest plan and fastest.

If you want to make your breakfast, take a cab. The buses are never a good idea unless you leave an hour and half ahead of time

And yes, you can go both ways at the international gateway, the cut off is the bridge to France
