I have seen bottles of wine for sale in various pavilions, sake in Japan etc. but I'm interested in knowing if any countries sell bottles of hard liquor (eg tequila in Mexico, gin in Britain etc.) and if so any recommendations people may have. Not sure if they are over priced etc.

thx for any info

I know a couple of years ago, we purchased moonshine for the wife at the American Adventure pavilion. If I recall correctly, it wasn't cheap, but it wasn't crazy expensive either.

Probably overpriced. Depending on how you buy liquor in your state you could always compare prices assuming the liquor at WDW is available elsewhere or just a one-off bottled for Disney. I know that the Disney-labelled Sparkling wine is made by Iron Horse in Sonoma and I think it's identicle to the Iron Horse Wedding Cuvee.

When we were in Epcot in May, the Mexican pavilion no longer had bottles of Tequila for sale. Not sure when that changed as we have purchased there before.

I don't recall seeing any hard liquor for sale other than Moonshine near American Adventure.

I know a few years back they had Patron bottles in Mexico but that was before the bar was added. We've purchased wine at Italy before and paid double of what we would have at the local liquor store but we had flown and didn't were afraid that the bottle might break and we'd smell like wine for days. It was worth it to have a bottle of our favorite wine. This time we are driving and will bring a bottle with.

The moonshine is by a company called Firefly out of SC. What's funny is the first time I ever heard of it was from a resort in the Bahamas that is run by the same owner.

Yup, firefly it is. I want to say we paid about $25 for a bottle, and the going price on the internet at the time was around $18 or $20, so not at all bad.

Unfortunately their Bahamas resort was severely damaged in the hurricane
