Epcot with kiddos

My boys always liked Future World, but World Showcase didn't hold much interest--other than the couple rides and maybe a snack or two! Couple years ago, though, they had a blast going through all the countries and stopping in the shops in each. They tried to find the silliest hats they could that represented each of the countries and we took pictures of each. I made them into a collage poster that hangs on our wall now. One of our favorite memories actually!

My almost 8 year old has always loved Epcot too!

We don't do Test Track or Soarin (and I won't do mission space) but we love all of the other rides that people usually seem to not like. Yep, he even loves Ellen's Energy Adventure!!

We love exploring world showcase and even though my son is up to double digit trip numbers we STILL find new things there! We enjoy the window shopping through all the stores in each country and take pictures in each.

Also lots of yummy food!! Some of our favorites are macaron ice cream sandwiches in France and caramel apple cookies in Germany (there is a whole caramel store which smells so yummy)!!

Our daughter (6) loved wandering World Showcase and watching all the shows and shopping. She especially loved Morocco - the shops and the Aladdin/Jasmine meet and greet. Now, it is probably last in her park preference order, but she still enjoyed it!

A lot of what we love about Epcot has been mentioned.
But did you know there are a lot of character meet and greets at Epcot, including at the Character Spot (FP+). We also loved Spaceship Earth - you'll know what I mean when you finish the ride! :thumbsup2My kids love Epcot, almost as much as MK!

We like Future World during the day and LOVE World Showcase in the evening. Each time our young family has gone to Epcot we notice a distinct difference in the feel of WS once the sun goes down. That's when it comes to life for us. (We've never been that into it during the day. Our little ones are bored. But in the evening it's electric!) And I totally second Agent P's World Showcase Adventure. We discovered it on our last trip and our kids did NOT want to stop...they wanted to complete more missions, but mom and dad wanted to move on and see more things. :) It has become a must-do for us, and it ended up being one of our best memories from our last vacation. We did the UK mission, and next time we will start in Mexico!

My kids love Epcot! Especially Living with the Land, TT and Spaceship Earth. Also, exploring the WS.

Get a refreshing adult drink, let the kids color at the kidcot stations, and enjoy the atmosphere.
My girls have always loved Spaceship Earth, we do it multiple times each trip. Also do - living Seas with Nemo, living with the Land, Ellen's Energy Adventure (great relaxing air conditioned ride/show) Playground type area in Mission Space exit area, Figment... so many things for you to do!

Some great ideas above. I will echo the Agent P game and Club Cool. A couple of other fun ideas:
1. Take pictures in each country wearing the hat of the country - so cute, and makes a great collage!
2. Do "Hello Around the World Showcase" - you can find them if you search online. The kids get a personalized passport for cheap and then ask the castmembers in each country how to say "hello".
3. There are some great Hidden Mickeys in the World Showcase.
4. The entertainment is great - use the Times Guide to hit any of the shows your kids would like (we were surprised how much the kids loved the shows. The band in Biergarten was a huge hit, but you really have to eat there to enjoy it.
5. My nephews LOVED Test Track and Soarin', as well as the boat ride in Mexico.
6. We also loved how they added characters to the country of their origin, like Snow White in Germany.
