Epcot weekend crowds during F&W?

I'm figuring out our daily schedule and the best days for us to do Epcot are either Saturday or Sunday the last weekend of October (Halloween). Generally I've heard that weekends at F&W are busy... true? Would Saturday or Sunday be better? Is the entire park busy or just surrounding the food areas? I imagine we'll mainly want to stick to Future World for rides, but will briefly walk through World Showcase. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

WS is very crowded especially later in the day and at night. And Sunday is better than Saturday because many locals have to work on Monday, but still crowded.

Agree with PP and as you have read the weekends are very crowded. We have been on Weekdays and Weekends and there is a noticeable difference. If you want to try any of the foods booths at all best to get there as soon as the WS opens. This is what we have always done, the crowds grower quicker on the weekends but if you get there early you can still partake of some of the food before it gets swamped with people.

Don't want crowds, avoid Friday after 3 PM, avoid Saturday after noontime. Sunday's usually better. If you just want to take a walk through WS, then do it early.

We were there in 2013 and the Saturdays were super crowded, especially at night. Long lines, tough to get anywhere quickly. Definitely go on a Sunday. It was loads better, crowd-wise.
