Epcot to MK

Last time we were at MK, it seemed like to took along time just to get into the park. Would it be more expedient to park at Epcot and take the monorail to MK?

What do you mean "took along time just to get into the park"? Are you referring to parking at the TTC and taking either a monorail or a boat to MK? Unless you're planning on returning to Epcot at some point (and not to just collect your car), it's not going to be any faster.

But if you're staying onsite, it's faster to take the bus than to drive

I wouldn't park at Epcot just to avoid the trams. Remember, you'll still have two monorail rides...one from Epcot to TTC, then TTC to MK, then reverse it going back.

If park hopping and you don't wish to drive each leg, what I usually prefer to do is leave my car at the park where I expect to finish up for the day.

You wouldn't necessarily avoid the tram, dependjng where at Epcot you park.

i think the OP doesn't realize the requirement to transfer at the Ttc.
