Epcot to MK on EMH night

I was thinking of hopping over to MK, from Epcot, on MK's EMH night. If I go from Epcot to MK, would it be easier to use the monorail or to drive (we would be parked at Epcot for our day there)? Will the monorail run to Epcot after MK's EMH night? I have never taken the monorail to/from Epcot.

If it was me I would drive. Last trip we tried that and for some reason the monorail was down. The wait for the bus to MK was staggering....
