What's the best way to go from Epcot to Downtown Disney? I won't have a car so I need a bus or boat :santa:

Exit through the International Gateway and walk over to the Beach Club. Take the bus from the Beach Club to DTD.

Exit the world showcase out the International Gateway and go to the Boardwalk bus stop which I think is the closest one and take the bus.

There is no direct transportation to DTD from any theme park.

You can also take an Epcot bus to SSR; then walk over. It is the closest of the resorts to DTD.

You can also take POR or POFQ bus, then take the water taxi over.

Thanks everyone :goodvibes
I've never been out this exit - will the Boardwalk bus stop be obvious? I've never been along the Boardwalk before (so sad).

Go out the front entrance of the Boardwalk and veer left along the pathway (you'll pass behind the valet station). Stay on this path to the bus stop.

Be aware that the Boardwalk often shares a bus with the Swan, Dolphin, Yacht, and/or Beach Club (depending on the time of day, etc.). So it might be (or get) crowded.

I would say to take the bus from Epcot that goes to Saratoga Springs, then when you arrive there get off at the Congress Park stop and use the walkway to Downtown Disney.

When getting the Downtown Disney Bus from the Boardwalk it will have already stopped at the Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club and Beach Club, so that's a total of all 5 Epcot Resorts sharing one Bus and it could be very crowded.

Make it fun! (If you have time) Take the bus to POFQ and take the boat to DTD

What a great excuse to check out the Boardwalk. If you go in the evening, stop at Jellyrolls. It's a fantastic dueling piano venue. There is a cover charge ($10???) per person to get it. Also, you can't charge to your room key, bring a regular credit card.

I've heard great things about Jellyrolls and DH and I wanted to go last year, but we jammed our schedule too tight and were just too exhausted by the end of the night :headache:

A connection at a resort is required for any trip between Downtown Disney and a theme park. As described above, sometimes one leg can be done on foot (no pun intended).

Boardwalk is the last stop for the Epcot resorts loop. This means the bus can be full by the time it gets to BW and you may need to wait. Many times I pulled into BW and could not accept new guests.

SSR is probably the better option, there you can either walk of grab the DTD bus. If going to SSR and wanting to take a bus, get off at either the Springs or Grandstand. These are the first 2 stops and will normally guarantee a place on the bus.

Thanks everyone for all of your suggestions - looks like I have many options available :thumbsup2
