We decided to use the RD time of our AK day at Epcot, in order to catch a couple more of the high-demand attractions at Epcot. (We have 1 day planned at each of these parks.) So even though it probably sounds crazy, we are going to Epcot to RD only (DH and 2 DS's to TT, myself and DD to Joy/Sadness and Anna/Elsa M&G), and then we are leaving immediately to go straight to AK. My question is, how soon will we be able to get to AK, and specifically, to Tusker House? We currently have an ADR at there. I am fine with cancelling it, but it we are able to use it, we will.

What time is your ADR? If you are doing Joy & Sadness and Anna & Elsa, that will take at least an hour. Even if the lines are short, the distance covered is significant. So I'd say you won't be at the bus stop until after 10:00. That puts you at AK at 10:30 at best, 11:00 if you have to wait a while for a bus.

We are driving to the parks. Our ADR is 10:30. I figured we probably wouldn't make it, but wasn't sure, so I didn't want to cancel until I knew.

If you are driving, you can make that. If you are running short on time, just skip A&E. ADRs will be held for a bit if you can't get there right at 10:30.

It would be cutting it close but you could make that time if you guys arrive early to the park and are among the first people in the park. You'll need to head straight for and fast to Joy and Sadness as their line grows and is usually an hour wait during the day. If you can be the first in there and get out and to A&E, seems like their wait is usually about 30 min. I think you'll have to skip one of the meet and greets to make the ADR as I'd recommend leaving Epcot by 9:45 to get to Tusker House.

I personally think it would be a waste of RD time and it would make more sense to just do the meet and greets on your Epcot day. You'd be doing a lot of rushing that morning.

On our Epcot day, we are planning to do Soarin at RD. We have FP for FEA. We were hoping to do TT & M&Gs (splitting our group) at the other, to avoid long waits. We are still debating things, though. Thanks for your input!

Is there a better time to do TT and Joy/Sadness meet, where we wouldn't have to wait in a crazy line? I'm doubting we can get an additional FP for TT, and there are no FPs for J/S.

How old are your DS's? If they are 7 or older, you might want to consider the single rider line at TT to cut down on wait time. You don't get to go to the car design room and the DS's and your DH will be split up into different cars, but they will be able to ride with a shorter wait time.

I would just do the A&E meet and greet before or after your FEA FP+ so, even if you do decide to go to EP on the morning of your AK day. Walking from Joy and Sadness to A&E and then all the way back to get to your car is a lot and will be a time killer.

If you want to fit this all in in one day, I would RD Soarin', then you and DD head straight to Joy/Sadness while DH and DS's head to TT (just wait standby or if old enough do single rider). Go about with the rest of your plans and do the A&E meet and greet before or after FEA.

Or, if you want to split it up, I would still do A&E before or after FEA on your full EP day. Then, on the AK morning, DS's and DH go to TT while you and DD go to Joy/Sadness and then leave. Even with this plan, I would move Tusker House to at least 11 am.
