In the Lion King's "Circle of Life" Simba tells Timon and Pumba how awful it is to invade a habitat by bulding a dam and how mother earth is effected. Yeah, developing acres of land in animal habitats is horrible. Good thing Walt found hundeds of acres of land in Florida devoid of any animal and plant life!

Actually the vast majority of land owned by WDW is kept in its natural state specifically so that it remains a wildlife habitat; the whole property is officially designated as a bird sanctuary. Walt was big into animals and conservation.

LOL, great thread! My hubby has one.....he said he always thought it was a bit "hmmmmmmmm" that there is a lovely seafood restaurant.....in the aquarium?!?! Hmmmmmmmmmm.....

We were eating at that restaurant a few years ago and also wondered if my dinner was just pulled out of the tank
