Give me your best EPCOT strategy & FP suggestions for our party of 9. We will be there at rope drop. We want to do FEA, TT, Soarin, MS, 2-3 hrs of F&W, Agent P & then had over for Crush, Nemo & Living Seas. We are planning on leaving park by 6ish. I am trying to decide on FP choices. I'm thinking FEA would be good around 11:00 before we do F&W, but I wonder if TT is a better pick. I was burned one year when I planned on rope dropping TT and then it was down - our wait later in the day was so long - don't want to do that again. I'm thinking if we get FP for TT and it happens to go down we will be given a replacement.

Our plan that has worked well for the past two trips is rope drop Soarin, then make the long trek to Frozen.

Last time we waited through one cycle of Soarin so we could get the middle section, and by the time we got to Frozen, the wait was about 20 minutes.

Then we headed back to Test Track for our Tier 1 FP followed by a Tier 2 FP for Mission Space.

Hitting the "big 3" in Epcot is pretty easy to do within an hour if you're there for rope drop. Two good ways to do it.

1. RD TT, walk quickly to FEA (not too far of a walk) then FP+ Soarin'.

2. RD Soarin', walk quickly to FEA (long walk), then FP+ TT

We prefer method 1. Some say that method 2 is better because TT goes down often. Our experience doesn't match up to that. It's pretty rare that TT is down at park open...if/when it goes down it's usually later in the day (i.e. storms).

If you don't mind spreading out at test track in single rider line you can rope drop soarin and the land, do Nemo, fp spaceship earth, fp mission space, then go in the exit for test track and walk back through the store to the car design kiosks and everyone can design their car. Save to your magic band, then ride tt single rider line, then fp frozen around 12 30. Then you won't have to back track. That is my current strategy and i recently tried it out. Worked great.

We do a PPO breakfast and Garden Grill then head down to Soarin. We fast pass Test Track. Now we break Epcot into 2 days so I cannot help on Frozen but the one times we did it on the same day we walked over after Test Track and it was only a 30 minute wait.

The TT being down at RD is pretty common and happened to us when we were there this past Aug and on our November trip. We on the fly decided to head over to soarin and then back to TT but it was still down after we RD'd soarin so we did living with the land and nemo. But Nemo went down so we got any anytime FP+ for another attraction. We FP+ FEA over TT since we like FEA more and were not as concerned if we didn't ride TT. But really hitting all three in the first hour or so isn't too bad. I haven't been back since all the walls went up so IDK if navigating FW is as simple but all 3 rides aren't too far from each other and under normal circumstances meaning nothing is down, it's all very manageable.
