Hello,

taking DD to Epcot for the 1st time (we went in October, but just for Princess Storybook dinner and Maelstrom). Here is my plan (be there at opening):

1) Do nemo and turtle Talk while DH gets Soarin FP
2) do the Living with the Land, Circle of Life and Soarin' (somewhere in there DH gets FP for TT)
3) Journey into Imagination with Figment - not getting great reviews but she likes dragons
4) Ride TT...DH may do Mission Space if time allows.

After that we would walk around WS looing for characters in Morocco, France & Germany (princesses).

Any thoughts, suggestions, am I leaving anything out? I would like to return to our hotel after a late lunch.

Thanks,

I don't know when you're going, but you forgot Spaceship Earth! Thats a fast line though. And my kids love the Kidcot stops. Universe of Energy is one of their favorites. Ice Station Cool, Norway ride and the Mexico ride.

Your plan sounds good. The only thing you might want to consider is making the Character Spot your first stop while DH gets the FP for Soarin'.

I thought this was the most organized and efficient of all the character locations in any park. If you get there after RD, your wait will be minimal. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale with great interaction.

DH met us (FP in hand) as we were finishing up with the last characters, and we proceeded to the Seas with Nemo. After our clamshell ride, we still had time to kill before the first Crush show at 10. The kids played in the shark play area before we moved over to the Crush waiting area.

Just a thought... This plan worked really well for us. Also, after Soarin, we had an early lunch (11) at Sunshine Seasons before it got mobbed. It was really good for CS. You could do Living with the Land before or after lunch, and maybe let your little one hit the Nestle Jr. Chef cookie-making while you're there for dessert.

Hope you have a great trip! :)

Sounds good to me. Don't forget the American Adventure. Much better then the HoP in MK IMHO.

sounds like a great plan! Don't forget to look in all the countries along WS for characters -- we've seen Koda & Kenai in Canada, Mary Poppins, Alice and Pooh in UK and Doanld and the Three Amigos in Mexico recently.

I agree. I think it would be a shame for your dh to miss TTw/Crush. Dude, my dh loved it. :lmao: I should add that he isn't really a Disney fan either. I know. He's weird that way. :confused3

You're going early enough in December so that it won't be too busy. I agree with the Character connection as a first stop if DD - there should be little to no line and you can get your FP to Soarin afterwards without it having too long before return time on it.

When you get to the park, check when the 1st Turtle Talk show is...I remember it being a full hour after park opening when we were there, I think. (Actually, you might also want to verify that Character Connection opens with the park...some hours for things were strange when we were there in December - maybe because of the lighter crowds.)

We were at Epcot on the 22nd- here's who we saw and where, we went from Mexico to Canada
Dopey as we were going into Germany
Mulan and Mushu in China
Belle and Beast in France
Aladin, Jasmine, and Genie in Morroco
Mary Poppins in UK
Rafiki, Mickey, and Pluto- I forget where, but they were all in the same area

I wish we would have had a better plan because other than the Kidcot stations and character sightings...the only thing my DH and I got to do in the WS that WE wanted to do was have luch in Germany!!
