Nice work, ladies! Love the pages Nan. I think I'm finally ready to think about this swap. Need to get it done by the end of July.....August is dedicated to getting the boy to college!

Can someone give me a shout if you see any good paper sales? These big swaps have killed my paper stash. The sales have probably been going on while I've been busy doing other things and now I won't be able to find anything. Phooey!

Question for the American Adventure holidays pages. Which of the following would you prefer:

A: Christmas tree theme pages
B: Santa theme pages
C: Holiday Carolers from American Adventure
D: Mickey with santa hat/boots

Not sure which route to take this. How is everyone else themeing their specific country holiday pages?

I did my holiday page based off the colors from a photo Buffy showed me since I have never been during the holidays (maybe some day soon)....

I used greens and reds, but they worked well with my two countries though.

I need more paper. I planned on using black for my background/base for the Land pages, but my colors don't pop on black. I have to go get more white I guess.

So I have all of American cut and ready to assemble, I have the title and most of the accents cut for the Land and I am still stuck on snacks.

Would you all be okay if I went with the cupcake theme for snacks? It could be used for any of the parks if I did. I can get more ink for my printer and print out a check list of cupcakes/tarts that can be found in Epcot, along with a separate one for the cupcakes around all the parks one that is on the internet somewhere.

I have the American Adventure christmas layout done. Will try to take pic and post tonight. I did not glue down any of the mats on this layout because I just didn't like them on the pages. They are included with your packet, but you will need to glue them down if you want to use them. I liked the pictures directly on the pages without the mats.

Finally! My syt paper is scheduled to arrive today! Now I can get started and get these cranked out. Hopefully before we leave for CHA.

I'm sorry I've fallen off the face of the earth! Things are really busy (and good!) at work, and the last thing I want to do at night is look at a computer. Weekends are full of laundry, grocery shopping, and other "fun" stuff. No really, we had Morgan's birthday party last Saturday, yesterday we went to the Samurai exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts, etc. Just really insane...

So...I'm going to need an extension on this one. I think 2 weeks should do it, but am open to making it further out if that helps others too. What does everyone think? Since the final set was set for November 15th (and I leave for WDW on the 22nd, that would move that swap out to about December 1st). Will that mess people up? We could, conceivably, make it January if that would be easier on everyone.

Can we say this one is due 8/31, DHS will be ??

I'm taking a pajama day today to work on finding sketches and papers for this swap. Hoping to be able to do some title and embellishment designing as well.

I got Lisa and Nan's boxes. Thanks so much for the goodies. I guess I was not explicit enough in my packaging instructions... Lisa, I had meant that the others didn't need to separately package that group, but just add a separate bag for yours But, it's all good

I'm fine with the delay on the return for this one.. I totally understand life being exceptionally busy... I have not spoken to my mom in 2 weeks due to crazy schedules here... and I haven't been on here much either.... We have some big events and things going on here...

I want you to know that I will not be participating in the DHS swap there is just too much going on and to extend it to January just really throws my scheduling off with some upcoming events here... So, my vote does not count....

I could really use the extra time too. It's been a bit crazy here with family and friends visiting and of course we have to take them to WDW. I am fine with however far you need or want to move it back. Thanks

The extension is fine with me. I'm out of town at the end of July so now I don't have to worry about cranking these out before I leave. I do have most of my titles cut out or ready to cut same with my embellies.

An extension would be sooooo welcomed here too. Life has been so busy, been working an average of 80-90 hours weeks to make ends meet since Dh lost his job. I'm saying a big yes for the extension and I frankly don't mind if you push everything by a few weeks, months. I will play regardless when it's due.

Are you talking about starting the DHS one at the end of August and then doing the character one beginning after that? Or have we decided not to include a character one? Just checking. If you don't want to tackle the character one, I would be happy to help out (if there's interest).

Sorry about all the questions, I'm in a fog this morning. DS left for 2 weeks of camp and I didn't sleep at all last night. Having him 600 miles away makes me worry.
