Epcot has so many "SIde Shows" like the Chinese acrobats. Last time we were there, we were so busy doing everything else we really didn't get a chance to see these. What do you suggest as the "must sees?" Also, how do I get a schedule of when the appear?
Thanks!! :goodvibes

We always enjot the quest for the holy grail in England and the "candy lady" in Japan who's name totally escapes me right now. Dh loves Off kilter in Canada but once you've heard Ashley MacIssac or Great Big Sea they arnt as good to me at least...

I love British Invasion at UK :thumbsup2 - they play at the gazebo/bandstand in the rear of the pavilion several times a day. I am a big Beatles fan, and they are a great tribute band.

DD likes the Japanese drummers and the Chinese acrobats- we always make time to see them.

Our favorite that is no longer there was the Living Statues in Italy. We have a GREAT pic of DD having her hat stolen by the statue. I was sad to hear they are no longer at WDW  .

We enjoyed Mo Rockin (Morocco), the World Showcase Players (both Italy & UK), and Seveur Amusant (Comical balancing waiter act) in France

Kristos (Cirque du Soleil type balancing act) & Jammitors (Stomp-like percussion group) are both neat, though they're not in the World Showcase.

The Candy artist is called "Miyuki" and is amazing. We love watching her work. We always see "Off Kilter" in Canada. I think "British Invasion" is more fun after dark, but that's just me.

OrisiRisi - the drum circle & storyteller at the Outpost is said to be good but is only there Sun - Thurs. and we haven't had the chance to check them out yet.

I loved them! Sure beats the Silver Man at Grand Central Station!

MoRockin is not to be missed. We make it a point to catch them at least once a trip. Ditto on the Kristos & the Jammitors.

WHAT?!! SAY IT ISN'T SO!?!?! WHY?!?!?!

We missed them on our first two trips and were really looking forward to finding them this time...

First Millionaire, then Sword in the Stone, our pool at ASMo, and now the living statues!?!

Thank goodness we have Soarin', Everest, and our first MNSSHP to look forward to! :woohoo:

One thing I really enjoyed, is the Fife and Drum Corp and the Voices of Liberty in the American Pavillion.

The side shows are listed on the back side of the times guide.

As we've spent more time in EPCOT (and my kids have gotten older), these side shows have become some of the favorite things to do.

Canada: I really like Off Kilter. And the fact that the guys are eye candy doesn't hurt :)

UK: World Showcase Players do skits here and in Italy. Every one I've seen is HILARIOUS! I think I'd like British Invasion, but I haven't been able to get the kids to listen.

France: I've seen the chair guy a couple of times. It's interesting, but it's really a one-time thing for me.

Japan: The candy lady is WONDERFUL. You will be amazed at what she can do! I enjoy the drummers there too.

Morocco: I guess I'm in the minority, but to me, Mo Roccin is too loud. I enjoy it just fine when I'm over by France. But in Morocco, it hurts my ears!

Italy: We've seen Sergio and the World Showcase players here. Sergio is a clown/mime act. I thought he was very good and very funny. It's amazing what he can communicate using a whistle, hand signals and expressions! I've seen Romeo and Edna a couple of times (WSP), and it was hysterical both times.

US: The Voices of Liberty gives me chills every time I've seen them. They usually perform in the rotunda before the American Adventure movie starts, but they finish up around 5, so catch them early. This is one of the best acapella groups I have EVER heard. And they mingle with the crowd a bit, so be sure to tell them how much you enjoy them!

China: I've seen pieces of the acrobats, and they're very good.

I guess I've never seen anything at Germany, Mexico, Africa or Norway. I know they have a story teller in Africa, I've just never seen it.

And if you go during the holiday season, most of the countries have story tellers or versions of their holiday traditions that are pretty neat!

Enjoy a different view of EPCOT!

If you enjoyed the Living Statues at Epcot, and they are no more; perhaps you would also enjoy seeing DeVine at the Animal Kingdom. I've often thought the same person did both.

Enjoy.

My husband is really into drumming, he loved to watch the Jammitors in Future World (I think by Mission:Space) and the Fife and Drum at the American Pavilion. They were both really fun to watch, music at Epcot is wonderful!

I also like the Jammitors. They're usually found either in Innoventions plaza or by Mission space. Their show times are shown in the leaflet guides given out at the turnstiles as you enter Epcot.

Off Kilter
Voices of Liberty

Others have posted these suggestions already, I'm sure, but here's my 2 cents: I always watch Voices of Liberty before heading into American Adventure. I'm not really sure why. Nostalgia I guess. The World Showcase Players are hilarious, and the British Invasion are great too, especially if you're a Beatles fan. On our last trip, we watched the chinese acrobats, and those girls are amazing! Next time I really want to see Off Kilter. I always just miss them.
