We will be in Disney in early March and I was looking for something a bit different to do ....ran across the Epcot Seas Aqua Tour. I think it looks like a great time, but my 10 yr old is concerned about being in the tank with the sharks and stingrays. From past posts it looks like a few folks have said the sharks tend to stay at the bottom and that the stingrays have their stingers filed down. I told her all of this but she requested I ask this group about any of your experiences 😂So has anyone done this recently? Would love to hear about it!

We have done the scuba diving there a couple of times. The fish are pretty used to people being in the tank and pretty much ignore you. There are a number of cast members in there with you so it's perfectly safe. I've been diving in the ocean with both stingrays and sharks and have never had one approach us. The ones in the tanks are trained to respond to certain sounds and you won't be making the one they know.
