Epcot Rope Drop Question

So during a trip later this year, we are headed to Epcot when it opens. It occurred to me that we have never done the Epcot rope drop. And we are staying at Beach Club.

Does anyone know if the rear entrance to Epcot future showcase a few feet from Beach Club is accessible for the rope drop? Or do we need to go to the front of the park? And if we have to be at the front entrance, what is the best way to get there from Beach Club? Take a bus? Or is there a walking path? Thanks

And no way to get to the Epcot maingate from Beach Club other than Uber/Taxi or walk/boat to DHS and catch an Epcot bus there.

The International Gateway was actually built to be the entrance and exit for Epcot Resorts.
Guests can enter and exit at the IG any time any part of Epcot is in operation, not just
after 11AM when World Showcase is open.

Is there anything in that part of the World Showcase, other than Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, that is open before 11am?

West side: France, Boulangerie-Patisserie
East Side: Norway/Frozen

How would I get there from resort? Just walk there after being dropped off by bus which I'm guessing is near Epcot entrance at front?

From which resort?

FROM where are you coming, and TO where are you headed?

We are doing a split stay between port Orleans french quarter and contemporary resort. Bus from French quarter and monorail from contemporary resort since we plan to go to Epcot multiple days

I don't understand what you are asking.
WHERE is it that you want to go?

I'm sorry if I was too vague. I was trying to figure out how to get to international gateway from both resorts. From looking at the maps, it seems like I can only walk from the bus/monorail drop offs? Not sure if I am better off walking towards before or even after. The reason I was asking was to have breakfast at les halles

you would just use the regular entrance.

you would just use the regular entrance.
Thank you, I will just use that. I heard international gateway would have shorter lines to get into Epcot but it doesn't seem like much of advantage if I would have to walk that much towards there.

You cannot get to the IG directly from any of the WDW resorts other than those just outside the IG.
That was my point in saying that the IG was built to be the entrance for the Epcot Resorts.
All other resorts access via bus or monorail at the Epcot front gates.

If you really want to enter at the IG you can take the bus from either of those two resorts to the Studios, then take the boat (or walk) to the IG entrance. But it would not be efficient. I do this sometimes during Food & Wine when I'm really just interested in World Showcase. I enjoy it.

Thanks. I also asked because I wanted to go to boardwalk as well to try the ample creamery.

If we wanted to enter through IG, we could take an Uber/Lyft from our resort to BC and just walk through the hotel to the waterfront and on to IG, correct??

Another thought. When using the IG entrance for morning rope drop, how far into the park are guests permitted into the park while waiting for the rope drop?
