We have a trip planned for Dec. Just wondering what order people are doing the rides at Epcot. I hope to get a FP for Frozen around 2. Was thinking of doing Soarin at RD and then over to TT. If anyone has done it in this order how long have the waits been for Soarin then for TT? Just trying to get an idea of the timing of our level 2 FP selections.

thanks

From what I understand, there is always a longer wait at RD at TT ~20 minutes. This is due to the added capacity at Soarin' and the fact that lots of people go from FEA right over to TT. TT also can be delayed or closed if the weather is bad. That being said, we're RDing TT on our Epcot day in October :) If you can, single rider might be a good option, unless you care about being with your party, in your car.
Soarin' wait times are 10-15 minutes at RD, which can often mean 5 minutes.

Depends a little on what you want to do after your first ride. Do you want to do Sum of All Thrills? If so, you'd want to start with TT, then to SOAT, FP for Frozen, and probably do Soarin late in the evening.

If you can do TT single rider, than I would do Soarin at Rope Drop, finish the attractions on that side of the park, then head to single rider for TT, FP Frozen.

I am thinking even with additional capacity the new Soarin is going to be very popular for quite some time, would expect 60 min+ waits right after RD (most popular first attention at RD plus surprising number of first hour FPs booked). Keep close eye on the ride wait apps over the next few months to see how waits evolve, but if it was me I would hit TT right at RD (single rider if needed), followed by FP+ for Soarin. Also get to RD TT or Soarin make sure you are in line at main gate at least 45 minutes before scheduled opening as they will likely start to move guests past gate and into park at 30 minutes and up to rides about 15 minutes before opening. Those 15-30 minute head start could make big difference simply arriving at main gate at or shortly before official opening time, could save you 1-2 hrs wait times total for TT and Soarin.
