Epcot Reusable Bag

Epcot is now selling reusable bags. They're black with an Epcot design. Three sizes. The CM said they would continue to offer plastic bags until they run out.

Just curious-what do the reusable bags cost? Way back when they had the "Picnic in the Park" offering at AK, you were given your food in a reusable bag. No extra charge and that's the one I still use.

Love them!!! Each park is going to have one with their own theme. I can't wait to buy them and use them at home, sadly not going until 2020 at earliest.

the napkins at WDW stopped being stamped a long time ago, now they are just plain brown. You can still find stamped napkins at Universal and Sea World

I can't believe people are surprised about the "environmentally friendly" route Disney has decided to take.

Even if you don't believe in the cause and think it's for profit, it makes perfect business sense for Disney to adopt this new way of thinking in the current era. It's a good look for them.
It will appeal to a new generation who believes in environmental initiatives. The new generation that Disney needs to attract to stay profitable. Sorry, but the oldie but goodies (I suppose at 45 I'm in this group) aren't going to be their main source of money for much longer.

So Disney doesn't care if we sit on our porches and yell about those dang changes.

I can't believe people are surprised about the "environmentally friendly" route Disney has decided to take.

Disney’s been helped along by California’s 2015 ban on single-use plastic bags and Disney has been selling reusable shopping bags/totes for years ($4-8).

I’ve been using my own bags along with my collection of Disney shopping totes over the last 10 years here in CA - reduce, reuse, recycle. At least lower-priced reusable bags are now available in the parks.

I save all the plastic bags from our trips and recycle them into raincoats. Got a pretty big collection of old bag designs.

I’m all about reusable bags—I totally collect them and am a junkie and would buy them anyway.

With that said, it’s pretty crappy of them to quit offering plastic bags and make you buy a bag to carry your souvenirs in. People don’t go to a theme park (well, most don’t—I have foldable ones I bring in my pocket that are Disney!) with bags in hand to carry their souvenirs home in so they kind of have you in a corner. If they keep the price to about a buck, that’s pretty decent but going anything over that is pretty rotten of them!

Just to clarify, plastic bags are still available at Disney untii their current stock is out and they have announced that the goal is to only have reusable bags by the end of the year so for anyone coming later in the year you have fair warning and can bring your own bags if you wish
