Epcot Restaurants

Our favorites are Biergarten (bonus points for the fun atmosphere and the friendly German cast members), Spice Road Table (we love to sit out on the patio and have a few drinks and share some appetizers, and San Angel Inn (can't beat the atmosphere, the food is okay). I agree with previous posters who said that the international food is very Americanized. As long as you go into it knowing you are not going to get a taste of truly authentic international cuisine you will be fine.

If it's international cuisine you're looking for, avoid Le Cellier (it's a standard steakhouse. Canadian steak is hardly any different than American steak) and Rose and Crown (bland English food, IMO). Obviously don't get lunch at the QS in America.

My tops are: Restaurant Marrakesh, Spice Road Table, Les Chefs de France, Tokyo Dining, and La Hacienda de San Angel.

I totally agree. I'd avoid LC as well. Steak (in my opinion) is not that great. And ditto for Rose & Crown....just meh food. Nothing special. Again, thats my opinion.

I love....
Chefs de France
Via Napoli (for both pizza & pasta)
Teppan Edo (food quality here is better than the places in my hometown that i've tried).

I think he works for Swan Dolphin, or at least Il Mulino. ;)
No, I am a retired Chemist - DVC member. Wife and I visit twice per year, 12 years running.

Now - do NOT try to label me as someones employee. I am not. And I resent the implication. I have no STOCK, no INTEREST, in any Swan Dolphin Restaurant.
Often, people try to show up and just help each other. Then people like you show up.

Fortunately, this wonderful site has an "ignore" function. Guess what is going to occur.

Easy there, lol. I think she was jesting more than anything else. Your passion for the Swolphin restaurants is undeniable. I appreciate your insights, and I'm sure others do as well.

@Dean Marino I sincerely apologize. I was only joking with you because you mention it so often, but I realize things "sound" different over the internet.

Happy trips to you.

I'll echo what others have said that the WS has a lot of really good restaurants but they aren't really an authentic culinary experience for the most part. They are Americanized to tone down some of the flavors and while having people from the countries in question adds to some authenticity you are still in an American theme park.

As long as you don't go into Marrakesh expecting the same level of authenticity you get at the little mom and pop restaurant at home run by someone right off the boat from Morocco you can still enjoy a really good meal there. Chefs de France was a great meal as was everything I had at Spice Road Table. Marrakesh was pretty good and I liked the restaurant and while Biergarten is not the best food available I always like the atmosphere and there is a wide variety for everyone.
