Hello
Last year when we were in Disney, the day we had scheduled for World Showcase, I lost my camera on one of the buses:scared1: Needless to say, we didn't get to spend the amount of time we wanted to in World Showcase. We will be there again in September and DH and I are going to take our time touring World Showcase (he will hold the camera...LOL) One thing we want to do is sample the food in the different countries, I would like to hear all of your favorites around the countries!!!
TIA

We had a sit down at Garden Grill at Epcot, mainly for the kids and characters. The characters were great, food was okay to good, but it was way too cramped.

As far as the Showcase goes, we had a counter service in Mexico and did a sampler platter...YUM!!! We also had mango margaritas...Yummier!!!

Eggrolls from China...mediocre...typical eggrolls...nothing to write home about.

Counter service in Germany...bratwurst, bavarian cheesecake YUMMMMMMYYY!

Counter service in Japan...sushi, daughter loved it, me too! Sampler plate that was yummy as well! Order the Ginger cake dessert...hmmmmm!

Dessert in France at the bakery there. Napolean, chocolate mousse, and strawberry torte...all DELICIOUS!!!

Did I miss any countries??? Just kidding...we didn't eat in every one, but we sure could have if we'd tried harder!!!:lmao: Maybe next time!!!:rotfl2:

Have fun and eat 'til your heart's content!!!
Have a magical trip!!!:wizard:

Thanks, everything sounds YUMMY!!!!!!! Do you know if we can use counter service credits for these things? We are going to have a few counter service credits left over!!!
TIA

Also, one more question??? The cheesecake in Germany, is that in the bakery or at the counter service place?
TIA

All of the ones I mentioned (other than Garden Grill) were counter services. The cheesecake was the dessert with the counter service in Germany. :thumbsup2

In Norway near the Church there is a little bakery that also sells GREAT sandwiches and soups! It is a CS meal and it was excellent. The pasteries are awesome too:goodvibes

Rose and Crown pub in the UK is a great stop for a beer and bar food as well.

Little Ice Cream cart kiosk in France...yummy chocolate icecream!
Chefs de France is a great place to make a dinner ressie!

Le Cellier in Canada is really good. We love eating here and the cheddar cheese soup and pretzel sticks are the best!!! Get the moose mousse for dessert...so yummy!

Margaritas in Mexico....so good:cool1:

We have ressies at LeCellier's...it is our favorite!!!!!!!!!!! The steak melts in our mouths!!!!!!!!!

This has always been a favorite in our family.... probably because my dad knew the actual guy from Italy who made Fettuccini Alfredo famous (or so we were told!).... The restaurant has changed a bit over the years - but which ine hasn't?? Worth a try - even if its for lunch!! :goodvibes

we always eat dinner at biergarten in the germany pavilion-the atmosphere is fun (there's a live band and guests are encouraged to dance) and the pork schnitzel is YUMMY!

We do the CS in Germany, my hubby is German and loves the food, but DD and myself are not very fond of it, so that way we eat somewhere else while he enjoys his sauerkraut and bratwurst!!! But thanks for the suggestion!!!

We love the school bread in Norway too. Crepes in France at bakery.
If you post on the restaurant board, you will get some great quick
tips and ideas too. They know everything over there about food in WDW.
Have a great time! :dance3:

I have heard about the school bread in Norway, but had completely forgot about it...thanks for reminding me!!!!!!!! It's now on my list and will not be forgotten. Where in Norway do you get this?
TIA
