::MickeyMo Any one have suggestions for reception/dinner location for intimate wedding approx 12 guests... I kinda want to have it in Epcot with a view for Illuminations - but we are on a tight budget?

I'm not sure if this is exactly the kind of place that you are looking for to have your reception, but....one of my favorite restaurants in Epcot is the one in Japan. All of your guests should be able to fit at one table and it's very entertaining because they cook everything right in front of you. And the food is great!! :duck:

You might try to get PS at Rose & Crown. They can seat you outside along the edge of the water. If you make PS for around 8:30pm, you should have a perfect view of Illuminations. When you make the PS, tell them that it is for a wedding party and that you really want to sit outside. Normally, it is just a luck of the draw thing, but since you have a special occassion, they may try to accomodate you.

you could make a ps at any of the gourmet world showcase restuarants for a great reception type meal & then catch a seat for illuminations. i like the 2 other suggestions too there's a balcony at the mitsukoshi store right outside the japan restaurant -tempura or matsu no ma ? cant remember which with a great view of the fireworks & globe. rose n crown at the uk pavilion also offers table side views for some dinner guests like feralpeg said. our personal ws restaurant favorites are le cellier, le origanle alfredos, bistro de paris & san angel inn. you might also look into a small dessert party for intimate brides or special events, check out http://www.yourfairytale.com/caterill2.html for more info.

fyi-keep in mind unless you're having a ftw event at epcot (ie custom reception or an illuminations dp) you can not wear your bridal gown into epcot.

Another option would be to plan an Illuminations event. Aside from dessert they can do all kinds of food. They offer all kinds of foods from appetizers and trays to full seated meals. You could contact group dining and see what they can arrange. The only down side is no wedding attire...
