Epcot questions - 10/1 visit

Hi all. I'm trying to figure out my fast passes for our visit next Monday to Epcot. Since it's during the food & wine festival, easywdw is recommending to hit our favorites early then head straight for world showcase and then to return to future world after 5. If this is the case, the crowds will be at world showcase in the evenings so should my fast passes be in the morning if we can't arrive before rope drop? Currently they start at 4:45 as we were planning on returning to future world but was thinking that maybe I don't need to use the fast passes in the evening if more people will be at world showcase.

Please advise.

We just got back and found it true that in the evening most rides in Future World did have very short lines, except Test Track and Soarin'. So if you are planning on riding one of these with lower waits, you will probably need a FP+ regardless of the time of day.

Test Track in particular was really bad, because it was closed during parts of the day due to weather.

Speaking of rain, this will affect your wait times also: a lot of people come back to FW to wait out the rain riding the (mostly) indoor attractions rather than staying in the crowded stores and/or restaurants at the World Showcase.

It will still be decently crowded in the evenings at FW, so you will need your FPs. I would keep them.
