Epcot Prototype

It's funny you all are discussing ages - I was wondering about that since it looks like most of you have kids (and I don't, which sometimes makes me feel still like a kid). But it looks like I am (barely) the baby in this group - that depends when mla1977's birthday is. I am 31, and will be turning 32 this year. I always tell those younger than me to stop at 26 - that was a good year, and a turning point in my life. So I wish I would have stopped counting then!

Oh, and if when you all are planning your Dismeet, I am still in Tampa, FL - I would LOVE to meet with you all to celebrate too!

All these old people...:rotfl: I'm 32, until December.

The two slowest times to visit WDW are September and Jan/Feb up until President's Day. But September is flocking hot. And January can be on the cold side, but sometimes you get lucky and it's warm, and it's not as wet. The first two weeks of December are pretty slow too, but less so as they keep booking pop warner/cheerleading stuff at that time.

Well, in 2 years, I'll have 2 kids in college, and I'll be able to go go go :cool1:

So I'll be able to come to the party!!!

We went in October one year and it was beautiful weather, and not crowded! But I'd love to go at Christmas time and see everything decorated too...

Are you serious? You look around 27 in that pond photo!

Thanks. :)

Having young children helps. I had my first right before I turned 30. If I would have had him right before 20, he would be 20 this year instead of 10.:faint: I could've been on my way to being a grandma.

AWM, you do look young! I feel young-does that count? I'm 42.

This year, my baby will be 18! And in college this fall. So, my kids will be 18, 19, and 21. All still at home-saving their money, spending ours lol.
I'd love to meet y'all.
Vicki

And, I love the American Adventure page.

Ok, so I celebrated the 3rd anniversary of turning 30 this year.
I vote for an early November celebration- it is not to cold, decorated for the hoildays and not to crowded. On the home front fall sports are almost over, play-off have not begun, winter sports have not started yet, before the hoildays and we can all slip away to do some holiday shopping that weekend.

S :)

I'm 31. My b-day is in January. DBF is 30 with a November b-day, but he immigrated here from Asia, so that isn't his real b-day. He always tries to claim that he was born in the year of the dragon. I tell him it is impossible unless he wants to admit to being older than me. I was born at the end of the year of the dragon. He is a snake. :)

My BFF and partner in cropping crime is 36 hours younger than me. I keep bugging her to come over to these boards, but she is active on two peas.

Nope, I'm the baby here (so far) - 29. And holding.

I go every year in October and it is a great time to go. Crowds aren't too bad, and you have Food and Wine and MNSSHP.

I just turned 37 and my youngest is 2! DH is 43. If I could do it all over again, I'd love to be 42 with an 18 yr old baby!

My DH would be good with Oct too... I'm good with F & W I've never been...

What year are we talking about? 2010?

yep, 2010... eck! my eldest DsS will graduate that year.. Yep, I'll need the food and wine and so will DH!!!

I'll be 32 in August... I usually forget how old I am until DD reminds me. She's so helpful. :sad2:

I am always up for a party... my bank account isn't always. :lmao: That would be great fun to celebrate a birthday at Disney!

Well, if all goes as planned at me house...

DS20 will have graduated college...and started a job...

DS16 will have graduated High School...and started college...

And I will have celebrated the anniversary of my 39th bday for 11 years...

A good year for all at my house :teeth:

not to mention...I do like wine, and DH LOVES food:rotfl:

we are going this year, first weekend of dec... technically we are going because that is the weekend of the southern region oireachtas (big deal irish dance comp, qualifies you for nationals and worlds) don't think dd will actually be dancing this year but I'm holding out for next year since 2010 nationals are at disney. :) so I guess we can say we are going for my birthday since it's that weekend. :) maggie

Ooooh, I'd love to meet up with y'all too!!!! The fall is a great time to be at Disney since it's not quite as hot out anymore.

As for my age, I guess I'm one of the "oldies"! I'm 46, will turn 47 in February. My DS is 15 and will be 16 in November. He'll be a senior in 2010.

me too! always all for it, but somehow the funds are not always there!!!!:confused3
i'd love to celebrate my bday in WDW, but dh would never agree to that. my birthday is in november and he has no interest in going to disney in november. how can he not right? i say disney at anytime of the year is a good time to go!;)

Here is my swap items - a little late for them to be prototypes (since they are already packed and ready to go Monday morning...

These are for the Elements Only, Group 3: Anything Epcot - Food & Wine Festival. There is a photomat with the chef hat & utensil popped, title (chef writing on chalk board), and shaker box (champagne glass with clear beads and a "bubbly" tag). Then i didn't feel the photo mat was fancy enough, so I added the journalling box. The inner sticker on the journalling box may be different for yours (3 different types).

This is my first shaker box, very exciting!
