We are going to WDW during the F&W festival and we have ressies for the signature dinner at the American Pavilion Rotunda.

We are supposed to meet in the Epcot Wonders parking lot. Does anybody know which lot that is?

I know I could ask at the toll booth, but we will be walking up throug the IG and want to get to the right place on the first try. Its a long walk;).

I would talk to the F&W co-ordinator. If you are coming into Epcot by way of International Gateway, the American Pavillion is a much shorter walk than the Epcot parking lot, especially if your wife/partner is 'dressed up fancy' with high heels and a gown!!

My wife and I did this dinner at F&W 2000, and the reason for meeting in the parking lot was so you could be ferried to the backstage entrance of the pavillion by limo. Because we were staying at Boardwalk that trip, they picked us up there rather than at Epcot's parking lot. I may have had special treatment because I use a wheelchair, but you won't lose anything by asking!

Andrew,

Thanks, I will ask.

Did you go to a reserve dinner?

The signature dinner is Resort Casual so we we won't be "dressed up". Nice clothes, but I sure won't have on a jacket. So, I think a limo is probably not in the cards.

HOwever, since Epcot admission is NOT required, there probably is some transportation to the back of the pavilion.

Ed,

Yes, I think it was a 'reserve' dinner. We had booked one of each of the different types of dinners, that one was the most expensive that year.

I say 'limo' because that was what I was told - I didn't actually see one, because I was collected in a wheelchair adapted van (a Grand Voyager or Dodge Caravan), not a limo. In any case, the term 'limo' seems to be loosly defined, so they could have been the Lincoln 'Town Cars' that provide the 'limo' services between WDW and MCO.

Because we had annual passes anyway, I never gave a thought as to whether park admission was included in the cost of dinner or not. I would guess they intend to drive you from the parking lot all around the service road to the back of the American Pavillion, which in turn is right across the road from the entrance to the Boardwalk.

By the way, I envy your visit to the American Pavillion. I am told it has an amazing view of Illuminations. Our dinner was at Horizons or Wonders of Life (whichever wasn't demolished for Mission Space) and that has no view whatsoever!
