Epcot or MK

We are staying one night in April to hang out with family for a day. We can't decide which park to do. We don't like HS much and AK isn't worth it for just a day. We love roller coaster type rides, but we also like slow rides. Our first choice was Epcot but we go there every time. Also, the dining issue. We called Canada but they were booked for that day and I checked the menus at allears.net and they didn't look all that appetizing.

This will be a Monday in April and we don't usually go at that time so we have no idea what crowds are like.

Is that Monday in either the week before or after easter?

This would leave MK. I hear they have heffalumps there, too.

Boy that is a hard decision. As much as I love Epcot, MK is the original Disney Park. You have Splash and Space Mountain, BTMR, Haunted Mansion, PoTC as so much more. If I had only one day, I would probably go with MK.

We love Epcot, but if you only have that one time to go into a park we would pick MK for all of the reasons stated above. However, also as it was stated above a lot depends on if it's around Easter.

I think it depends heavily on the demographics of the group. If you have a child under 8, for example, I'd say MK. If you want to relax, drink, and have good food, I'd say Epcot. If you want the thrill rides, I'd say DHS. If you want animals, I'd say AK.

Monday, Apr. 19 if it was Epcot and Tues. if MK. This is 2 wks after Easter. Like I said, we don't go during this time so we have no idea what crowd levels are like.
