We are trying to plan our 2005 trip with our neighbors and DD's dance recital is making the timing difficult. princess: It's looking like we will be there the week of Memorial Day (not the weekend before though). So can someone tell me if you have done EPCOT on Memorial Day? How bad were the crowds? Should we just plan to blow off all parks on MD?

Thanks for your help!

We were at WDW this past Memorial Day and we opted not to hit the parks that day because we were worried about the crowds. We did go eat at Ohana's that night and the bus driver told us the MK was pretty dead that day. Since its usually the most crowded I would think Epcot wasnt to crowded either. You could always put it in your plan but have a back incase it does turn out to be crowded.

Epcot wouldn't be too bad on Memorial Day...the park I would stay away from that day is the Magic Kingdom.

We were at WDW in 2003 on Memorial Day, and DS and I went to Epcot. The line to go through security was pretty bad, OK VERY bad, but we didn't get there til 9:30. Once in, it wasn't crowded at all. DS went on TT, using the single riders line, and he had maybe a 15 minute wait at mid-morning. Wasn't hard at all getting an Illuminations spot that night, nor did we have to wait for counter-serve at Liberty Inn. I'd recommend that park on Memorial Day.

We were at Epcot this past Memorial Day & I was really surprised how UNcrowded it really was.

We were able to do everything we wanted, plus some :)

I was at EPCOT on Memorial Day in 2002. It wasn't as bad as I had expected it to be. It was crowded, but not too bad. I think I also went to Magic Kingdom that day, too, and as I recall, it was crowded, but not too bad. I would definitely go again during that time in the future, if that helps at all.

We were also at WDW this past Memorial Day, arrived on Friday evening before the holiday and stayed through the week. I thought that Memorial Day crowds were actually lighter than the previous two weekend days. Epcot was fine, no problems with crowds. We did single rider line for TT with very little wait and I also did single rider line for MS with about a 20 min wait.
