Epcot on a Saturday

I messed up and asked a question a couple days ago re: Epcot on a Sunday. I was excited to tell my friend the positive replies since her family is also going to epcot the same day. She said " great , but you are going on Saturday unless you changed all your PS's as well as the day!" I must have too much on my mind getting everyone ready! I will try again...How is Epcot on a Saturday with out an early open?

We normally do Epcot on our first day (which is always Saturday) and have never had a problem... we normally don't even get there til about 1:00.

We also save our Epcot days for Saturday and Sunday of our visit and have always found it to be very enjoyable. The only problem we have encountered is getting to ride Test Track--the FP's were usually gone by 11:00 am but hopefully M:S will change that a little.

Here's our experience: We went to Epcot last Saturday, October 4, arriving about 10:30. The wait time for Test Track was about 30 minutes, with Fastpasses available for times about 1 hour later. We got Fastpasses, then rode Universe of Energy. When we returned to Test Track, the stand-by line was longer. The Fastpass line took 20 minutes to get to the front the first time and 10 minutes the second time. We walked around the World Showcase, saw the American Adventure, rode the Friendship from Morocco to Mexico, and rode Spaceship Earth before leaving. It was definately more crowded than our visit earlier in the week on a cool, drizzly Tuesday evening during value season, but wasn't too bad. For comparison, on Tuesday evening, we rode Test Track 3 times within an hour and walked onto Mission Space.
