Epcot on a Friday when MNSSHP is going on?

I will not be going to a Friday night MNSSHP, but was wondering if people think the crowds might be smaller over in Epcot that night. We have never seen Illuminations and will plan on doing it that night if I get good responses. Thanks!

Welcome to the DIS!

Our first trip to WDW was during October and we did see MNSSHP. We also made every effort to see Illuminations every chance we got. Crowds during that time of year are traditionally light so the crowds will probably be lighter during the party. However, it's still a friday night and I'll bet most of the parks get a boost from the local crowd.

I suggest that you not worry about the crowds and go to this show. This is one of my families DO NOT MISS attractions at WDW. We always sit in Japan at the fence on one of the concrete benches. We get there early, relax with a treat from one of the WS countries and watch the show.
