Epcot New Year's Eve-tom Butler Orchestra

Hi everyone!

DH and I are planning a quick trip up to WDW for NewYear's eve. This is so last minute and we are planning to make a reservation (early evening) for dinner but not sure where. I am thininking of booking the buffet at EPCOT featuring the Tom Butler orchestra. Does anyone have any info about this? I saw this posted on allears.net under and then searched the web for more info-no luck. If anyone has info my concers are where exactly is it held and would I look dumb if I wore a party type dress.

I don't believe they've done the buffet in a couple years, as we wanted to do it last year but they didn't have it, and I don't see a mention of a dinner/buffet on allearsnet.com, just the concert.

I've heard nothing about a buffet, but I can tell you that the band will be performing in the World Showplace ( between England and Canada - sets back from the road-through a gateway ).

World ShowPlace Pavilion - Carnation Garden - Located in Epcot's World Showcase between the United Kingdom and Canada Pavilions. This location is large-party friendly.

Hours: 4:00pm - 10:30pm

Entertainment: Tom Butler Orchestra starting at 7:30pm. Background music will be played from 4:00pm until 7:45pm and during Orchestra breaks. Due to the nature of the event, the sound levels in the pavilion may be loud at times

Ages 10 and up -- $45.00; Ages 3-9 -- $20.00

Tax not included. Gratuity and non-alcoholic beverage included. Alcoholic beverages available at an additional cost.

Disney Dining Plan: 2 table service meals redeemed per person for this experience.

Unfortunately the buffet is all booked. We were able to book a table at Jiko (the last one) which is hardly a consolation prize!!!! thanks to your responses.

Thanks for the correction! I didn't even check the dining options, just the NYE events page.

We're (er, just me, rather, with fiance as designated driver) drinking around the world that night. I hope you enjoy Jiko, that's what we did last NYE. Just went Saturday and it was fantastic as always!
