Epcot Moonlight Magic Feb 8

Thanks so much for posting. We are heading out soon and this is helpful for planning. It looks like festival booths that Disney operates are available - so NO China, Italy, Mexico, Japan or France.

Thanks! Was that the main entrance or international gateway? We are reserved for next week and I’m hungry for information. Thanks to everyone for sharing!

International gateway. Was already a line around 6-6:15. They scanned the QR code on your digital membership card. No need to show email.

Anyone have info on characters? We are here and we know where they will meet… just no idea who will be meeting. I’m hoping the CMs will tell us as it gets closer to time.

How are the lines for popcorn buckets/snacks? I saw some videos from last year’s event that looked like there were frighteningly long lines! And also how about the rides? (Second place to the all-important snack question 🤣)

1.5 hours in and we’ve ridden GOTG 3 times. Now break for ice cream ha! If anyone knows which characters are where please update :). We’ve been huddled in this area the entire time. And tots worth it!

Lines aren’t bad. Maybe 5-10 minutes but Norway bakery line looked worse. No popcorn bucket. Most snacks are either Mickey pretzels or popcorn. No beverages, you need to use your coupons. We are glad we ate when we got here but we weren’t interested in the food booths.

There were not any Photopass photographers at that characters we met tonight when they have usually had them in the past.

When did general registration open for the previous events? I stayed up until midnight because it said registration opened 2/9 and many things I've registered for before have been at midnight, but I'm seeing nothing on the MM page...

It was fun. Enjoyed the quick lines at the rides. Firework show was nice but we just watched Harmonious a few hours earlier, so it felt underwhelming. We aren’t big into character pics, but it was cool to see the ones we never see at the parks. Two ice creams and my stomach said no more. Used coupons at a few of the Festival of the Arts booths; good usage (wish they didn’t limit the countries where they could be redeemed). Disappointed that we didn’t see any merch for sale. Music was fun and lively. Great weather and a good night out.

General registration for the 2/15 MM Event at Epcot opens at 11 am eastern today. MM event registrations used to open at 9 am eastern, but DVC changed it to 11 am eastern last year.

The registration url is the same for all of the Epcot MM Events: http://disneyurl.com/DVCME23

Had a great time at Moonlight Magic last night. Ride lines were short, food lines were longer but moved quickly, meet and greet lines were long but it was great to see, Koda, Coco, Remy and others. It took us a bit to figure out the food options. For those going to the next one- My tip would be to get there at or before 7 and use your snack vouchers at the festival kiosks - better value (before 9)- anything listed as a snack item at a kiosk or at the quick service restaurants (Regal Eagle-till 9:00, Connections Cafe and Kringla Bakery and various carts till 1:00 AM-, Sunshine Seasons & Connections Eatery till 10:00 PM- can be purchased with your voucher- you cannot use the vouchers at kiosks in Italy, France, China, Mexico or Japan- Unlimited Ice cream began at 10. They do close off the world showcase from the edge of Norway to France around 10:00. All in all- we did all we wanted and were back at the resort by midnight. Hope everyone has a great time!

I agree, we are first and felt like we got a great value with our vouchers. I had Scallops, grilled cheese and tomato soup and bread from Morocco. There were CMs just handing out ice cream after 10 in front of the creations shop

Was anyone able to book their MM event being a Blue Card Member but their resort reservation was booked with resale points? Was able to do it in the past. Was just checking to see if it's still working.
