EPCOT Moonlight Magic - Aug date change

Once a trip is on the books, every Disney item is read.

In the Membership Magic Guide email today -
EPCOT MM changed from the 13th to the 15th. So glad they updated before ADRs. Not to throw fuel on a fire BUT - it's funny how Disney can change anything at anytime for any reason (disasters, weather, breakage would be acceptable) but we are asked to book ADRs @ 180 days and FPs @ 60.

Our trip last June coincided with one of the Typhoon Lagoon nights. It was our last night of our trip, so we were really excited that we'd be able to make it! But, then they pushed the date back by one night. Frustrating. I did call to complain, though!

Unfortunate, I booked Boardwalk at 7 months to stay that weekend through Tuesday. Bad timing on reschedule, now that August is booked up at boardwalk and beach club.

We extended our beach club trip too to get this date!! We check out on the 15th!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRR

I noticed that the May AK event is on the same night as EMH at MK. It appears that will also be the case for the EPCOT event in August. So if one takes advantage of the Moonlight Magic, you lose EMH at MK.

Yikes!!! Major changes to my tentative schedule, plus I have a big group staying with me, huge change!!! So glad this was before flights booked (I have my hubby meeting us and was planning around Moonlight) and ADR plans....I hope once it is moved it will stay that way!

Can anyone tell me what attractions are typically open for the Epcot Moonlight Magic. We will be there for the August event and are interested in going. We've only gone to the Typhoon Lagoon event, and it was great! Thanks in advance!
