Hi Folks..

Like everyone I am trying to plan our trip to Disney. We will be there January 17-24.. I was hoping some of you experts could help me decide what park would be best to visit on the weekends - crowd wise?? Okay, so you helped me with the park, now what day?? Saturday or Sunday??

Thanks!!

Another Question I do not understand!!

I am 3 days aways from WDW...
Am I stressing???

What is the question??

What are the days of the week?

EMH Schedule?
Park Closures?
Wishes estimated times?
Deb's Site info read and digested?
Mousesavers ditto
UG info read and digested?

I think I may be stressing!!

No patience for newbies...Wait, I was a rookie once,

How may I help you...
Please rephrase your question!!!

Let's sprinkle some pixie dust!!

OLT2004 -

Sorry I wasted your time..Sorry I did not ask the question so you could understand it. Maybe, next time you could simply say "sorry, I don't understand your question" instead making a person feel unwelcomed to the boards..

Thanks so much for taking some of the "magic" out of me!

If there is anyone else out there willing to help I would greatly appreciate it..

I thougt it was a pretty simple question. No matter what day we avoid early entry like the plague. Some people swear by it, getting to the parks to enjoy that first hour, but in my experience after that first hour and even during it the park gets so busy it isn't worth it. Maybe we just hit it wrong everytime, but we always pick a non-early entry park !

By the way, Universal will most likely be nearly empty in January.

I thought your question was pretty clear as well. I had much better luck than jonemick with EE. We got a lot done with no or very little wait in the morning but things did seem to get crowded by noon or shortly after so plan to hop if you decide to do that.

In general it seems that MK is the busiest on a Sat. If you have the option I would stay away then. I was there last weekend when it was the last days of the F&W fest and Soap Weekend. I didn't feel safe anywhere so we braved MK in the morning. It was fine from opening until late morning. We got there for opening did Stitch, PotC, got fastpass for BTMR, rode Splash, walked around Tom Sawyer Island, used FP for BTMR and then rode the train from Frontierland to Main Street so we could get on the monorail for our lunch PS at Epcot. That was around 11:30. Epcot was pretty crowded but I think it was mostly the F&W because the booths were the only real lines I saw there.

I guess what I'm trying to say is if you can go somewhere other than MK on Sat. you should. If not, get there early, do as much as you can before it gets crazy and get out. Other than that it seems to be hit or miss. Hope that helps.

I agree with avoiding MK on a Sat. We've been a few times in Jan, always go to those 3 parks and find the crowds similar. Jan is a great time to go although Universal was never nearly empty when we were there as jonemick mentioned. Weekends are always abit busier but if you go early and hit the big rides first, you'll be OK at any of those 3.

Thanks all for your suggestions.. Our plan is to go to MK on Thursday because that is our daughters b-day.. So, we will probably leave the weekend for Universal or MGM..

And the EE advice was great and nothing I had thought of..

Thanks again..

Hi neighbor! (I'm from Warren, MI)

Just another tip- I have heard Epcot tends to be busier during the week than on the weekends... but like the others have said, the reverse is true for the MK-avoid it on the weekends.

EE is on Saturday's for MGM! I plan on doing Fantasmic on Friday nite, but going back on Saturday morning, for things I missed.

Hi girlsma..... I like to use this to plan....

"During regular attendance periods, our parks tend to be the busiest on the following days:

Magic Kingdom: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday
Epcot: Tuesday and Friday
Disney-MGM Studios: Sunday and Wednesday
Disney's Animal Kingdom: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday"

I have always found this to be helpful and pretty close to correct.

PS - Your question was fine. :)

bytheblood - the teeth marks are healing mainly because of the helpful responses I have gotten since that one.. My blood pressure still spikes everytime I think about that response. I am grateful for that thoughtful posters out there..

Thanks for posting what you did.. Because my daughters b-day is on the Thursday we planned on going to MK that day (since she is still at that age where MK is the most magical!) and planning the other parks around that. Some of the days we picked do fall on what they call the busiest days - I hope I am not making a mistake - but I keep trying to tell myself that I can plan and plan until I am blue in the face and not have it perfect! But I am not going to stress over it!!

Can I ask you a question?? When they say "during regular attendence periods" What do they consider "regular"? The more I think about it, I guess they don't mean "peak" cause they would have said so.. Oh the agony!! Ha Ha
