Does anyone know the name of a dessert wine in the Italian pavilion in EPCOT? I think that it made from strawberries. It was the best wine I've ever had.

I'd love to get a bottle for my husband for Christmas!

Any help as to the name or where I could buy it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Is it carbonated...like champagne? If so my DH knows the name as he bought me some online somewhere after I fell in love with it.

Yes it's carbonated! Thanks for the name!

Does anyone know where I can purchase it, besides EPCOT?

Thanks

I am wondering if I will like this? I am not much of a wine person but I like a sweeter red wine that is not too dry. Who am I kidding, I don't know anything about wine, LOL! I might have to try this.

Thanks so much for all the replies! I'm having my sister-in-law check in her area for it - it's supposed to be at the HyVee up there. We live in the middle of nowhere.

We've been longing for this for 4 years! Hopefully, there will be a bottle under the tree this year. And I hope he'll wait to open it in January after our baby is born, so I can enjoy it too!

Thanks again for all the help!

My local wine store has Rosa Regale and another wine that is similar that I cannot think of the name right now. I have noticed our Wal-Mart carrying RR! If I can remember the other wine, I will post it. I actually prefer it to RR.

If you like a sweet, sparkling red wine, you might like sparkling white zinfandel as well. I like Berringer. :thumbsup2

Rosa Regale is made by Banfi. I find it at my local liquor store and my Costco carries it as well. It really is delicious...especially with chocolate!

Beringer makes a sparkling white zin? I love white zin, it's my favorite and Beringer is one of my top 3 brands (Barefoot, Beringer & Charles Shaw have the BEST white zins) but I've never seen a sparkling white zin. I have seen plenty of sparkling roses at the wineries around her but not a sparkling white zin.

I've seen it when visiting the inlaws, but haven't noticed it in my home state (other brands but not Berringer), so it may not be available in all areas. I will have to stock up the next time I'm down there. :thumbsup2

ETA... I'm sure you wine experts are giggling at this point, but I'm a peasant!

From a wine person (not an expert!) who is not a wine snob - try the Toad Hollow Risque. Its like a Cold Duck (like an Asti). It would be sweeter than a white zin - I think its a little like an Auslese but sparkling.

My HyVee does, indeed, carry it. Enjoy!

I used to buy this wine when it was known as Brachetto d'Acqui. Loved it!

Our Sam's club carries it as well....it's my very favorite in the world! LOVE it!!:goodvibes

I had Rosa Regale in Italy about 4 or 5 glasses! LOL!! My husband & I kept running back to Italy b/c I liked it the best out of all the other champagne I tried! [We might have had 2 much that night but burned off the extra calories running back & fourth. = )] It's funny b/c I was just thinking of RRegale. yum.

Where do they live if I may ask? I'm about 30 minutes from the Beringer winery. :) that's one winery we haven't yet been to but we plan on visiting. I found this link, is that the right one, on the top right? http://www.beringer.com/index.cfm?method=storeproducts.showList&productcategoryid=7287494a-d8fc-9f21-ed35-81e70960e8b2&maxrows=12
