So where should we eat lunch? DH and I are going to get dinner at Rose and Crown for Illuminations (at least, we're planning on this), and we would like a lunch about 6-7 hours before hand so we can walk around the F&W festival and enjoy the goodies!!

So which of these places is the very best for lunch at Epcot? :)

golly, if it were me, my lunch would just be all the goodies at F&W. I wouldn't do a sit-down lunch for fear of being too full for F&W.

I love Tangierine Cafe in Morocco. It's a QSR, though, not a TSR. But the food is amazing!!! The portions are pretty good size- I love the chicken wrap served with couscous and lentil salad. It's almost too much for me to eat!

I voted for Tutto but it was a toss up between that and Teppan (for TS). CS I would do Tangierine or Sunshine Seasons in the Land.

Teppan Edo or Tutto - Le Cellier wasnt good at all to me.

I agree that TS for lunch, then goodies from F&W with TS for dinner only 6-7 hours later seems like a lot, however I think if I recall correctly you are on the DxDDP, right? I know you probably want to make the most of your credits (I know I would!!), so why not do a TS breakfast, snack on goodies from F&W or do a CS in the WS for lunch (somewhere like Mexico or Morrocco) and then TS at Rose & Crown for dinner??

I would strongly suggest either Tangerine Cafe in Morocco or Yakitori House in Japan. These are both counter service but very good.

i like to have lunch at CS restaurant in France. It's all the way in the back - might be the Patisserie. I love the ham and cheese croissant, the strawberry tart and the creme brulee.

I would think that 2 TS meals in EP during F&W would just be too much. F&W festival makes a great lunch. Walk around and graze! It's wonderful. My DH went to our first F&W festival last Oct. and loved trying everything. It's a lot to try and there's some really good food there. I know I didn't want to be stuck in a sit down meal for an hour or more when I could have been walking around and enjoying the F&W booths.

You know, I was thinking that - any good TS breakfasts in Epcot? I figured we'd get lunch right at 11am and then probably dinner at 8pm for Illuminations? So I guess that's 9 hours, but you're right with F&W goodies (especially wine goodies :p ) that's a LOT to ingest!!!

You're right though - we are on the DxDP and we do want to take advantage. I have everything planned out so well, except for our Epcot day, because F&W is SO fun, but I also don't want to miss out on Epcot dining!! I'm not too crazy about Rose & Crown as our dinner location, the food doesn't really do it for me, but the view of Illuminations can't be beat!

So breakfast is a very good idea- possibly we'll eat at CSR early in the morning or at Epcot early that day - where's a good TS for Epcot? I'd like to use TS since that's getting the "most out of our money" so to speak...

The only TS breakfast in Epcot that I can think of offhand is the Princess Storybook character meal at Akershus. You could always eat breakfast at a resort beforehand - like at Spoodles or Captains Grille.

For lunch, you could do an early lunch at Chefs - the French menu is very good and not too heavy for a lunch.

My favorite really is Tangierine Cafe in Morroco.

I have to vote Tangerine also. I cannot believe how good that food was and I would have never tried it without all of the glowing reports here on the dis. Honestly, it was so good I could have eaten there every day.

Teppan Edo is fantastic and quite possibly the best bargain at WDW for a TS meal. We ate there 3 times in 12 days last month. The food was great each time and it is a lot of fun.

Ooooh, I just looked at the menu at Tangierene's, that looks AWESOME! My absolute favorite food is Mediterranean, so I think I've found my winner! Thanks everyone!! :thumbsup2

I have done both Teppan Edo and Le Cellier for lunch. Both are fantastic. The difference is Teppan Edo can be lively and a bit loud. If that's not a big deal for you, it's worth the stop. They do some fantastic things with food at the grill.

Le Cellier is more laid back and quite. You also get a great history/trivia lesson from your server who will share with you information about the region of Canada they are from.

We had the best meal of our trip at Chefs de France and we "don't like" French food lol.:)
