EPCOT Hours

We will be staying at the Swan next month and are wondering how late we can walk through EPCOT and the World Showcase to return to the Swan if we take the monorail back from the MK. Does anybody know?

Epcot closes at 9 PM. Unless you're there on an Extra Magic evening, when it'll close later (that's Sundays from May 9-22, under the schedule that is currently going around).

Yes, the park closes at 9, but that is also when Illuminatios starts. We have walked back to the BC around 9:45 one night.

But you talking about having to enter Epcot, right? I am not sure when they would stop letting people in the gate.

Thanks, CoolDisneyCat. You got my question. Maybe someone else will have walked back through even later. I know that in the mornings we've walked through the World Showcase on our way to the monorail without any trouble.

Right, but that's because the front of the park is open. At the end of the day, the front of the park is closed (give or take a few shops), as is World Showcase. Not to mention that there are HUGE masses of people trying to get out of Epcot at that point. At that time of night, all turnstiles are in EXIT mode. After 9pm, you cannot enter Epcot at the front gate.
