Epcot Hours just got extended for Christmas week

Looks like at least for Christmas week, Epcot will be opening at 10:00 am (general entry, 9:30 early entry) instead of the originally posted 11:00 am opening. Now let's see if they'll give us an extra hour at Animal Kingdom, too... It seems really strange to me that the hours are so limited right now for such a crowd-heavy week.

It's weird they only updated Epcot. They also updated some hours for the week before for all parks. Guessing Christmas week update will happen next Friday

Hours for the rest of Christmas week was updated today.

Magic Kingdom on party days is 8am-8pm, otherwise 9am-10pm
Epcot still 10am-10pm
DHS 9am-9pm
Animal Kingdom 8am-8pm

This is good news--basically opening up some more capacity for LL selections. Hurray! Although DHS is the park that needs extra hours to add more LL slots!

The bad news is I'll be losing a few more hours of sleep. We are rope-droppers, and will be taking advantage of those extra hours.

i would expect all the hours to increase as that is usually the busiest week of the year. Keep watching, the hours will change.

They didn't show on the park hours in the app or on the website for me anymore, so I didn't mention them in my earlier post. Not sure why, I've seen the extended evening hours there before.

Sure wish they would extend them for the week before, I'll be there then. Good news is they must not expect it to be too crowded. Bad news it is going to make my park hopping all over the place. AK closes at 7 the whole time I'm there and MK closes at 8 3 days I'm there (I'm staying in a moderate). I have one day reserved for all four parks so I'll be mornings at each of them but really like hoping to MK later in the night. Oh well, I'll live.

Well that stinks. If would have known that I maybe would have booked deluxe. You can probably ride more in those 2 hours then the entire day.
