I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about the restaraunts here and what both Chefs de Fance and Bistro de Paris are like. I want to take my husband somewhere for a special birthday dinner, just the two of us, and I had finally decided on the France pavillion but now I see there are two choices? Which do you think would be better for a nice intimate quiet dinner....any advice welcomed and thank you in advance!

I'd say Bistro all the way. Ate there on my honeymoon in 2001. Was very quiet (maybe 10 people in there when I was, can hole alot more). The food was excellent, atmospere was great. Prices are a little high, but you have to expect that when you have finer dining :) Dress up..dine out...doesn't get any better than this!

Although there are children at both, Bistro is more fine dining and tends to be much quieter than Chefs. Also Bistro does tend to be more elegant than Chefs. I would agree that Bistro would be the one to do.

Bistro is more elegant, quiet and upscale than Chefs. Definitely the preferable place for an intimate adult dinner for two.

Bistro is the restaurant for a special dinner out without the kids.

This is one of the few resort restaurants that politely discourages infants and toddlers (sort of like V&A). There is no children's menu here to give you an idea of the orientation of this restaurant, while onn the other hand, Chefs de France, provides a children's menu.

Statements about Bistro De Paris straight from Disney....

"Romance someone for dinner where dining is truly a special occasion. This gourmet restaurant, with French cuisine and a romantic ambience, features such savory sensations as pan-seared lobster, rack of lamb and filet mignon. With a view of Epcot from its second floor location and a magnificent French wine list, dining here is always a night to remember. Bon appetit!

Enjoy fine wine from such French wine regions as Alsace, Loire Valley, Southern France, Bourgogne and Bordeaux.

Wine is available by the bottle and the glass.

This location can accommodate most special dietary needs. Advance notice may be required and cancellation fees may apply. Please indicate any special dietary need at time of priority seating booking.

Specialty celebration cakes are available for an additional charge and should be ordered 48 hours in advance. "
