EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

Are you kidding me?!?!?! I think I will have to start drinking this morning, I was just on hold for 55 min (on 2 phones) one was answered and I got so excited I hung up the other line, but was then cut off from the first line...... I sat in stunned silence for a minute.... Now back on hold with a wait time of 48 min... yes, time to start drinking...
 
Just a quick update ... I just got through and was able to get PFTS 10/24 Reserved Seating and Parisian Breakfast on 10/24 ... so they're still showing availability (for now)
 
So I get in after 25 minute wait and am told nothing is available for my party date. Someone else gets in 55 minutes and gets reserved seating.

I'm not feeling the magic!
 

After a 50 minute wait, I was able to book the Premium package. I did get a confirmation number and it's showing in MDE. The CM told me that we had to pick up our credentials as the festival center, so will they be in the room?? Who the heck knows ;)

The reserved seating for PFTS for 10/3 was sold out :(

Did you pick a "special event" - whether the illuminations party or demos?

Now that I've got hope I'm back on hold... 40 minute wait. Oh the agony!

It appears as though the premium package will not be tied to a resort reservation this year, so participants will need to pick up their gift bag and credential at the Festival Center.

I've decided I do not want the sampler or the premium this year.
 
I have a confirmation number but no email and it doesn't show up in my MDE account. Should I be concerned?
 
Try linking the reservation to your MDX yourself. If it doesn't work you may have an issue. I booked 2 events, one showed up but not the other, however I was able to link the second event manually.

No, I was told it included a culinary demo or a beverage seminar, but no option to book it. We're not big demo people, so I wasn't going to bother with it. I figure I'll call back later once it's quieted down and all of the details are out.

I should add that when the CM was reading the description, she did say that a late night event was included and the late night event would take place rain or shine. Part of me was wondering if she was reading the info from last year, but I find it hard to believe that they would have last years info in there.

You know, I'm really getting upset with Disney. 30 minutes ago, I was told no availability for PFTS 10/24 Reserved Seating, so I bought general admission.

I too was able to book Japanese Craft Beer Tasting for 10/7 via phone! :drinking1 Tried for 9/30, but it wasn't showing availablility... not sure if not held the first Wednesday, or if it was already full.

In regards to the premium package, how do you pick up the gift bag at the festival center if it contains wine and you are not allowed to carry a bottle of wine around the park, they make you have it delivered to package pickup at the front of the the park or International gateway, if you buy wine in the park, or are they making an exception?

I did that once....I was alone..... I didnt know whether to laugh or cry or both....The day BOG reservations started 8/20/2012 I had them on speaker and when they picked up instead of taking it off speaker I hung up........
 
Last I heard if you bought a bottle you could carry it around just not open it. but they may arrange for it to be sent to package pickup for you, it shouldn't be a big deal to pick it up there.

Unfortunately, no info was given to me about the wine. Once I call back & get the deets, I'll be certain to post :)

That exact thing happened to us last year! Either the CMs just don't know what to check for in the system, or certain tickets are released as the morning goes on. I was prepared to ask for a supervisor, but I had a really great CM who was able to find the reserved seats
