Based on last year's TIW e-mails they should possibly send another one out tomorrow with an update if they really are going to offer the Premium Package again but since I didn't get the first one I doubt I will receive any updates. I got last year's at 7:27PM on Wednesday 7/30.

To those of you who have lunches and tastings showing up on your MDE, does it show the name of the event or just a 12pm reservation at that restaurant?

For my culinary seminar MDE app displays "location, date, time, confirm #, party of #" nothing else

Did you give her the date and time? Seriously , they seem to have all kinds of trouble with names it's probably still called whatever it was last year in the system LOL!

I booked it for the 6th on Nov. I always started with Date and time, then title and it went smoothly - on my Friday call for seminars the CM thanked me for doing that, and it was by going by date/time she found the Italian Beer & Wine was now 'VS'. I did say 'Frenchh\ Family Meal Traditions' - a\made sure i had copied down exact titles based on earlier posts.
Boy it sure seems I got lucky with my CM!!

BTW - I'm a newbie. What comes with the Premium Pkg?

Another CA here - who the heck picks 7am as a start time?? 9am was marginal for the AP signup but at least I got what I wanted. am twice in a week will be deadly - and if they don't have the events loaded it will be even worse!

heeeey! i'm in HI so i had to WAIT UP until 1am here to book my Parisian Breakfast! whew! talk about throwing off my sleep schedule! but i got my ressie so YAY!

Called at 7 (actually tried before 7 too) and had a 60 minute wait with a nightmare automated system that wasn't picking up my voice or my typed numbers---I think it put me way back in the queue.

Anyway, was able to get PFTS 10/17 but not French Family Meal on 10/18, also could not get my alternate of Tutto Gusto on 10/19--called again later because I wondered if it wasn't loaded but still couldn't book. I see that one previous poster did book that meal on 10/18.

I'll try again on Thursday, but I'm blaming my crappy phone service!! The same nonsense with the system not taking my voice or numbers happened the second call too, I hung up and the next time was fine.

For the Beverage Seminars, MDE says F&W Wine/Beverage Seminars along with the date and time and amount paid.

The special event I reserved MDE says F&W Italian Festival Events - Italian Food & Wine vs. Beer Pairing at Via Napoli

I had the same problem with the phone number posted by Chase in their email - it wouldn't recognize spoken or keypad commands. I called at about noon. I finally just hung up (after yelling at the phone so loudly that DH, who's working at home today, came downstairs to make sure i wasn't being murdered ), and instead called the FEST number from the first post in this thread. I got through in 4 minutes and got the two culinary seminars i wanted just fine.

Decided to call back just now to add a couple of culinary demo's. Booked one for 10/21 & another for 10/22. Never been to one of these so not sure what to expect. As for MDE...the Tutto wine pairing luncheon I booked this morning is showing up and clearly states what it is.

We did it last year, but I'm not sure it's worth $199 per person to do it again. Especially since there are three of us this year, not two, and the money I've already spent on special events!

If I'm remembering correctly, the pdf on the tables website was updated either the day before or the day of "public" booking last year and that's when we got confirmation of the details of the premium package. Prior to that it was much debated whether each person or each room would receive the welcome amenity. (It was per person).

We're planning to book it again this year. Like many others have said about club level resort rooms, this package is more about luxury and service and less about value - at least for us. I did think it was a decent value if you like chianti and chocolate. In addition, a very sweet couple gave us a lot of their coupon thingies at the late night live event last year so we definitely got our value out of the champagne and desserts booth that night!
