EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

To those of you who have lunches and tastings showing up on your MDE, does it show the name of the event or just a 12pm reservation at that restaurant?

Mine shows the time and the restaurant, for example "1:00 pm Dining Reservation, Spice Road Table." This is how it displayed last year, too.

So far the reservations I got aren't showing up in MDE, I'm hoping that they do in a day or two so I don't have to enter each confirmation #. On a positive note, I was able to get 7 of the 9 events we wanted. On the phone exactly 7am (6am our time), got right through and immediately on hold (husband and I both called), husband got through first and secure everything we wanted (that was still available) while I was still on hold. :) We're actually feeling pretty lucky to get most of what we wanted early. Yes, we will be on the phone again to try and snag the last 2 on the 30th.

I called right at 7 this morning and got to talk to a CM at 8:20. I got none of my events. But if I could get the Premium Package again I'd be happy.

Mine weren't showing up right away either. I manually entered the first Conf # and they all automatically showed up.

Thank you, I hope that works for me!!!

If I'm remembering correctly, the pdf on the tables website was updated either the day before or the day of "public" booking last year and that's when we got confirmation of the details of the premium package. Prior to that it was much debated whether each person or each room would receive the welcome amenity. (It was per person).

We're planning to book it again this year. Like many others have said about club level resort rooms, this package is more about luxury and service and less about value - at least for us. I did think it was a decent value if you like chianti and chocolate. In addition, a very sweet couple gave us a lot of their coupon thingies at the late night live event last year so we definitely got our value out of the champagne and desserts booth that night! :)

As I posted earlier the e-mail with the update about the Premium Package & Late Night Live events that I received last year was delivered to me @ 7:27PM Wednesday night 7/30/14. I was on the phone immediately with Disney Dining trying to get clarification and the girl I was speaking to hadn't heard anything about it. While we were talking her supervisor was handing her the pages containing the info that was in the e-mail from TIW. It was days before we really got any clear info about the package and no one really had any definitive answers until the Festival began & people starting receiving the goodies when checking in to thier hotels. I think I got my moneys worth out of the package last year and am really hoping to see it return this year.

I manually enter one of my reservation #'s earlier and then added my DVC hotel confirmation #s and then all the other dining confirmation #'s appeared. I think the system wants you to have a hotel confirmation # before it links everything together.

For those thinking the Premium Package might be back this year - are you thinking Late Nights Live will also be back? or that some other event might be included with the Premium Package in its place?

I hope the Late Night Live will be back. It was great fun. Something new and different,

Thank you! Still nothing about a Premium Package and no clarification for the Sampler Package.

When I called back this afternoon after several bungled calls this morning, the CM told me "everything" (meaning all the events with descriptions) should be loaded onto the Disney Food & Wine web page by July 30! She said that the Premium Package was going to be back at the same price and with the same offerings. She also said that it "should" be loaded onto the F&W web page by July 30. That being said, I have no idea whether any of that is actually what will happen.

I just saw the details for the Parisian Breakfast & French Family Meal Traditions up on the website a few minutes ago & was able copy them to my files but now they are gone again. Looks like they are finally working on loading the missing events to the website.

And now they're back again!

My experience the same as many. I called the WDW-FEST # at 7:00, quoted 45 minute wait. I called a few minutes later on another phone to the Chase #, talked with a CM who transferred me to Disney Dining (around 7:10), quoted 6 minute wait: Got reserved PFTS 10/24. She said it would show up on my MDE, but it hasn't. She didn't give me a confirmation number either!! I guess I'll call tomorrow to find that number!

Does anyone have a sense of how quickly the Premium Packages may sell out? We got everything we wanted this morning during the Chase early booking nonsense and I would prefer to not have to repeat that again on Thursday for the Premium Package.

If they really bring the Premium Package back there's no telling how quick they will sell out. I would like to do it again depending on the details. I don't think they sold them out last year as it was not well publicized & there was a lot of misinformation leading up to the the start of the Festival. They also quickly made some modifications based on feed back during the first week. Some people who did it weren't impressed. I felt I got my money's worth out of it. Some didn't like that the package was only valid Monday-Thursday. We had to get our credentials reissued because we checked in on Wednesday evening & the credentials they gave us were for the current week when we had requested them for the following week. We had requested to attend the Late Night Live Party on a Tuesday night but they decided to cancel the Tuesday parties & only held them on Thursday nights. Since we were there for two weeks anyway we had no problem with switching to Thursday. Some people attending MNSSHP weren't able to switch and I believe they gave them the option of attending the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party on another night.

call me a dreamer, but I am still holding out hope that some incarnation of the Premium Package will be offered by July 30th. my guess/dream/ideal is that they're cutting out the Late Night Live Party but still include the welcome gift bag & access to VIP dining areas where CMs bring your food from the booths. I don't mind that the VIP areas are available from M-Th since that's how I planned my trip anyway. if there's no LNLP then I would hope the price of the package would be reduced. maybe to keep it the same price they will include some kind of event just for package purchasers?? I think they're having logistics problems with the VIP areas now that there are booths in the Future World area this year. :confused3
many have heard from CMs that the package will be offered, so i'm hoping at least the parts that interest me will still be included.
