EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

I noticed that too. At first I thought it meant there wouldn't be a Korea booth, but there is. I think it's odd they're moving it to the Outpost.

Probably just crowd control. The kimchi dog was a fav of young adults/students for years and the line for the Korea booth was often out of control. Guessing they have moved this down the path to shorten the line and ease the crowd congestion through the China Pavilion.

is anyone else having a hard time finding everything on the website. I'm looking for taste around the world and the French breakfast options and I haven't found them yet

I noticed that too.

I'm way off topic here but Stinky Pete, we used to have a restaurant chain in Ontario, Canada decades ago called "Sneaky Pete's" and the icon/character was really similar to the one you are using as your avatar. Do you have any connection to this or just a happy coincidence? ps I am definitely, definitely not suggesting you are "sneaky" in any way :-) Your avatar and screen name just brought up lots of fun, old memories of eating in that restaurant as a child. Thank you for the (unintentional) trip down memory lane!

Just did a little online research & realized your avatar is a character in Toy Story. I'm not from the Toy Story generation so it went right over my head. Great avatar, though!

A lot of people are reporting this. Looks like the info on the website is still a work in progress. Hopefully, more and complete info in the next day or two. Good luck!

What about prices? Does the Disney site every list the cost of the items or do you have to wait until it appears on a fan site (like Disney Food blog).

I don't remember Disney actually posting the prices of the items at the booths. I usually check the fan sites & go by the prices that appear in the pictures they post of the Menu boards at each booth. They will usually post prices on the lists the put on their websites but I've found discrepancies between the prices they list & the ones on the actual menu boards over the years.

Thanks for the info and also letting me know about the price discrepancies. I'll keep an eye out for uploaded photos of the actual menu boards, so we can budget accordingly. This is our first year and everything sounds amazing - both food and drink - we want to taste it all. Can't wait!

Is it for sure that 3D Dessert Discovery parties are no more? Thanks.

It looks like they are offering the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party most nights during the Festival. I guess they consider this a replacement for the 3D Dessert Party @ $49 per adult, $29 for children.

I think it's been replaced by the $100 Hamburger Party

Too bad, that option isn't very interesting to me. :/

Yes, I noticed when they opened October dates for the illuminations dessert party that they were having it on Fridays, wondered if that meant they were moving 3DDD to another day. Didn't think they would kill it entirely!

I guess it looks like my kid and I won't be doing any special events, other than, perhaps, the Parisian Breakfast. :(

Not sure if this has been asked but what countries are not going to be there this year compared to last?

Booths from last year not listed this year are Terra, Singapore, Puerto Rico. Not sure if there are any others without consulting my lists. It looked like a lot more were missing after the 30 that were listed Sunday night but after checking the website yesterday those are the ones that I can remember aren't listed. There also isn't anything listed for the Liberty Inn this year. Overall there appears to be a net gain of 2 extra locations for this year when you at the 4 new & 1 returning from hiatus food booths and another coffee location. Last year the list had 37 and this year it's up to 39.

I don't think Disney ever posts the prices of the food items. Several days before the festival begins, the signage with prices will start to go up around World Showcase and several Disney fan sites (allearsnet, Disney Food Blog) will post the prices along with photos.

I think Illuminations was offered in October of last year. I remember booking it on accident thinking it was the 3d Dessert Party

Is there more to come? With it being the 20th anniversary it sure seems like they took away a lot of special events. We were hoping for "Dining through the Decades", and the "After hours Party" event they had on Thursdays last year. Maybe they replaced these with the dining events. We are only there for 1 week and I am a little bummed by the offerings.

Just noticing that there are already a few changes to the "what's cooking with" celeb chef schedule on the website vs. what was announced at the Tables in Wonderland event / in their brochure.

Andrew Zimmern was listed for 9/27. Now 10/9.
Jamie Deen was listed for 10/9. Now listed for 10/10 (a Sat although the event is described as Fridays & Sundays)
Alex Guarnaschelli was listed for 11/13. Now TBD.
No replacement (not even TBD) listed for 9/27

It is a bit odd, as I recall the World Showplace having events almost every Friday and Saturday. Saturdays were typically Party for the Senses, and Fridays were the 3D Dessert Party some weeks, with other special events on the Fridays that weren't having the 3D party ... like Dining Through the Decades

This year I only see a few 'Burger' parties. So do they have other unannounced Friday plans for the World Showplace? Will the Burger party be offered on more Fridays?
