***Epcot Food And Wine Festival Info 2008***

I just tried to get the dinner at Bluezoo with Todd English and it is all booked. Bummer !!! I should have booked it this morning when I booked everything else at 7:00am. Its my own fault for waiting. I was trying to decide on this one. Anyone else going to PFTS on 11/8?

Sounds like everyone (except for me that is :headache: ) got what they wanted. Congrats to all!!! I can't wait for everyone to get back and post their reviews/pictures (*hint, hint* this means you Brenda!).

I will definitely post visuals of our V&A dinner. Maybe, since luck didn't shine on me with the Italy F&W Pairing, I'll somehow get the V&A Chef's Table either Thursday or Saturday that I'm currently wait listed for. One can only hope.

By the way, an earlier post mentioned something about a Citricos Chef's Domain -- what's that all about???

The kitchen is through the door. This area is behind the bar as you walk into Citricos. :goodvibes

Keeping my fingers crossed that you get the Chef's Table! :thumbsup2

I am waiting to read all about your experience here Michelle so that I can work on convincing Jay that we need to try this next! :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Booked Victoria City Tastes (10/17), PFTS (10/18), and Sweet Sundays (10/19). We'll be lucky not to get HEAVY tags getting back on the plane!

OK, it seems many of us are going to the PFTS on October 18. So who is in?

We are there!!! We also booked City Tastes: LA on 11/7. Thats it. I just got off the phone-took less than 10 minutes. I will have to make due with all the great restaurants in Italy, London and Paris the next few weeks. ;) We already have some booked on our free time and I am psyched!

Tell him it will be more affordable if we all share the table! :thumbsup2 That's what we're doing in December with some friends of ours, (who I'm sure will show up on this thread later today! Hey, Alison! :goodvibes )

Good Morning everyone...congrats..sounds like we all got pretty lucky this morning. We got everything we wanted. Was only on hold a couple minutes before someone picked up. Hubby stayed on hold with both cell phones, and someone finally picked up one of those when I was finishing up my last reservation, he got so excited, he booked an extra event just for fun, lol.

See you all there!!!

Looks like making Bluezoo #3 priority instead of #4 was a good thing. Sorry it didn't work out for you. I'm from New Orleans / Tampa and was torn between supporting our locals and sitting down to dinner and wine at Bluezoo (never been there). Chose sitting down at 7:35 and got in.

Yeah the foodie phoning frenzy is over and it appears that quite a few of us were able to book our choices! Way to go! :woohoo:

For those of you attending Todd English's Blue Zoo Signature Dinner, did your booking CM indicate it was 'evening dress'? Mine did.

For the signature dining at bluezoo the CM I had just said you can't wear your bathing suit!! I think she got so distracted by saying that, that she never finished what the dress code was!

Yeah, this was the first year that the dress code specifically listed no swimsuits (for anyone) or tank tops for men. I thought it was much easier when the CMs just said that (in most cases) it was business or resort casual, but maybe they've started worrying about too liberal an interpretation of that? :lmao:

I will also be attending PFTS on 10/18. I was told the dress code is smart casual-no shorts, tank tops, bathing suits. Does anyone think dressy shorts will be OK, like walking shorts. I have seen video of past PFTS's and it didn't seem overly dressy. Any opinions?

Is the signature dining really evening dress? How dressy? Is this a great excuse to buy a new dress??? :cool1: Does my DH need to wear a suit or will a sport coat and tie be fine?? So many questions now!

I am so used to hearing resort casual that it kind of stunned me when she said 'evening dress' but I wrote it down so she must have said it. My DH doesn't own a suit so he'll be wearing a sport coat. And yes I think it's a great excuse for you to buy a new dress !!! ;)
