congrats to everyone who's getting through and nabbing their reservations! I've never been on hold this long for F&W...after everything that has happened this week I guess I've just got some bad karma going on right now.

I'm beginning to fear those few things we really wanted are going to be gone when I do get through.

Called & got right through initially and... call ended before I could reach a person.

Called back. All circuits busy.

Called back. 7:03am. Still sitting on hold. Wah.

I'm just hoping I'm not shut out of the 9/26 Cook, Book, and Bottle since I'm booking for my mom and a friend, too.

Oh no! I'm crossing my fingers for you! I didn't trust my cell phone and called from a land line.

HEY I am in and got both PFTS after 12 minutes hold .. thats only 6 cartoon songs at 4am! Not too bad ..
They told me no shorts tennis shoes tank tops or bathing suits .. even at 4 am that sounds like a silly outfit!

It took us a 1/2 hour last year Brenda and we got everything .. you will get it!

Laura - I debated that Sweet Sunday... but we have a 9:20 ADR at CA Grill the night before and I just don't see us being ready to eat that early on Sunday. You will have to let me know what I missed!

I think I'd skip Sweet Sunday for CA Grill myself!

I'm hoping Matt & Renato don't disappoint! BTW, they're getting ready to open a "Baked" in Charleston, SC!!!

Hopefully I can get Cruelle DeVille out of my head long enough to get another hour or so of sleep! Good luck to the rest of you on hold. The CM told me the system was slowing down toward the end due to all the bookings!

But mine's usually pretty good (as long as I'm not driving through the backwoods of RI or through parts of I-95). I don't think it was my phone that dropped the call.

Yeah, I wasn't even on hold when I called, and after the first booking, she commented the system had gotten really slow. Well yeah, that's what happens when hundreds of people want to book their F&WF events at the same time as the people who want to book the princess meals and Le Cellier.

Thanks for the sympathy...my own fault really. Too darn impatient to go through all those silly prompts. I'll take solace in the fact that we are going to V&A on Friday so I'll drown my disappointment in wine and good food then!
