we are interested in the food and wine at epcot, does anyone know when (dates) it is this year? and is it crowded at that time?
thank you
:)

It is usually right around Veteran's Day. We were there last year & the crowds were not too bad. My DH really enjoyed the Food & Wine Festival & really wished we could have spent more time in EPCOT. He loves those kinds of things. :D

can you give me alittle more info about the fest.? how do you go through it, do you go to each country and taste food ans wine or do you make ressies to certain restr?

You walk through World Showcase & the countries have "counter service" stands set up with samples of their most popular food & wine choices. Of course, there is a cost for the "samples" - they aren't free.

Some people think they are pricey, others think they are reasonable. I thought they were a little pricey because you only got a small serving, however, we enjoyed trying different things.
Even my 3 DD's enjoyed sampling foods from different countries.

If I remember correctly they give you a brochure or map of some sort telling you what each country has to offer.

It was fun. We will be back again in Nov. around the same time & DH has already said he would like to spend more time at the Food & Wine Festival. It's definitely something you should at least try.

thank you for the info, i thought i read in another post awhile back that they may move or open up the food and wine to some of rhe resorts, have you heard of this? and they also mentioned you have to make ressies for dinning at special food and wine dinners, have you heard of this? sorry for the questions, but dh & i will be celebrating our annv. in late july, but this food and wine fest. sounds like fun and i surely can wait to celebrate if its worth it .

What you might be talking about is the signature dinners. They started last year as part of the W&F festival. Each weekend there was a dinner at a different restaurant on property. Some of them were in the resorts (Jiko, California Grill, etc.). They require reservations and has very limited seating.
