epcot flower and garden festival

We have gone twice in June to see this event. The topiaries are awesome as well as the beautifully planned flowerbeds. I highly recommend it if you are a plant person. If you aren't a plant person than it is still impressive to see a number of the characters created in plants! Also, in Japan they bring in some bonsai trees that are diverse in their ages, some reaching over 100 years old!! :flower:

The flower and garden festival is a great event. Do you have more specific questions that we could help with?

I love going then...especially in April for my birthday. I have seen Davy Jones performing at Epcot during 3 Flower and Garden Festivals...and he is great!

A wonderful event! The displays are amazing and beautiful. Many contain hidden Mickeys which are fun to look for. The gardens near Canada look like something out of a painting. I could have looked at them for hours.

We have been to WDW two times during the flower and garden festival. The displays are absolutely beautiful! This makes it one of my favorite times to go.

I highly recommend attending this festival. We went the third week of last may and it was beautiful, the flowers and butterflies alone are a reason to go, oh and the rides to boot!

Very beautiful! Brought a very lovely detail to Epcot! We went our first time this may and absolutely enjoyed it.

We go to the Flower & Garden Festival each year for my birthday. I'm an amateur photographer/artist in my spare time, and I love taking pictures there and converting them into art. Here's a link to my pictures from this year's festival. I really like taking pictures of roses!

Take some time to talk to the horticultural staff while you're there. I was fascinated by the fact that there is a spreadsheet which shows every rosebush on the property, its condition, watering and feeding schedule, etc.

I've got one! I love your pictures. Where did you see Flower and Bambi? Those are 2 of DH's faves and he didn't see them.

I always like to go to Festival Headquarters, or whatever it's called, in FW, and look at the art displays.

That was awhile ago and I don't remember. :( Where did you see the picture(what album) and maybe I can figure it out from there. :)

We were there the last three years and loved everyminute.

We saw Bambi & Flower near Canada. I will try to upload some pics and put up the link.

We have been to 2 Flower and Garden Shows. This year we did the Garden Tour at Epcot. I have to say it was probably better for more serious gardeners than myself, but it showed me things about the plantings and topiaries I will always remember. I love all the additional plantings, topiaries, the butterflies, and the Flower Power concerts are great for folks like myself who graduated from HS in 1968!!

We've gone to Epcot during Garden and Flower show in middle May. Epcot is beautiful! All the displays are gorgeous. We loved the little Butterfly exhibit. I think it makes Epcot truly awesome...

My DDs 6 and 3 LOVED the butterfly pavillion and DH kept running around looking at the names of all of the beauiful plants. It was lovely.

The entrance to EPCOT has all the Characters made from flowers and plants out of topairies. At the entrance of WS, Tinkerbell was featured (again, done in flowers and plants) on turning pedestal. The Lion King (excellent), Beauty and the Beast, were all in full flower glam featured at different areas of WS. It's awesome. Also there, are acts and bands that perform during the festival. You also have outside vendors selling plants, paintings, hangers, artwork and stuff.

It's a lot of fun and beautiful to see.
