Epcot fireworks boat boarding question

I see it says guests must be able to board on their own. My husband can walk a little, a little stairs, but if it's ladder style, that's a hard no. Does anyone know what the getting on the boat is like?

I remember there’s a ramp down to the boat, no ladder. I have difficulty walking, but I have done it.

There's no ladder...

Its a pontoon boat.
You step onto it.
The captain will give a hand for stabilization if needed.

Agreed, that's what we recall. The only steps down or up will be getting into and out of the boat, and that's 1 or 2 very small steps.

They use the Disney pontoon boats for the cruise, if that helps you picture the boat
