Epcot Figment ride worth it?

You can usually just walk right on, so its hard for it not to be "worth it" since you are not really losing anything, except maybe 10 minutes, by riding it. If you are walking past it anyway, you might as well hop on and give it a try.

My younger kids like it, as do I, and my 4-year-old sings the song all the time. I do have to drag my 9-13 yr olds on it nowadays, but they all loved it as younger kids. If your 10-year-old hasn't hit the "too cool for baby stuff" stage yet, then s/he may enjoy it as well. It is a cute ride and I love the ending. FWIW, I never saw the original, which I think clouds some people's opinion of the "newer" version.

I love the ride & the stuff to do afterwards! I had to force my kids out of there when they were little! The line has definitely been longer since FP+.

All the kids I've taken on have liked and and as WDWNerd mentioned--really enjoyed the activity area after. There are "instruments" you can play by moving your arms and you can create your own Figment and email it to yourself.

It's also one of the continuous loading rides, so lines usually go quick if there is one.

We have ridden it in fall, summer, early December and January and never needed a FP. Unless you're there for Christmas/Spring break, you should be able to ride this without using one of your FP.

Overall I really enjoy the ride and its creativity. Not as cute and fun as the original but still very nice. I don't believe that this is a true continuous loading ride i.e. People Mover, Buzz Lightyear, even the Haunted Mansion. It does load quickly but there is a wait while each car is loaded.

It's not a continuous loading ride. The train of cars stop, everyone gets on, then once everyone is good the cms send you off

I definitely would not wait more than 10 minutes for it, and it would be way at the bottom of the list of attractions to ride on any given EPCOT day for me. (The last couple of days we have been there, we have not ridden it.) It's just a ghost of what it once was, and I just can't really get into it anymore. Now, the original Journey into Imagination, that would have been a "do not miss" for me anytime I went to EPCOT!

In my opinion, there is little tier 2 in EPCOT that requires a fast pass. But, the figment wait shouldn't be long and I'd bet your little ones will like it.
The problem with Epcot ... there is practically nothing in Tier 2 worth a fast pass on, yet you still need to take 2 of them.

It's very dated and definitely do not waste a FastPass as it's the same as Living With The Land, mostly always a walk-on.

I even enjoy the attraction and activities afterwards myself! I bet your kids would enjoy it too. . . as for being worth a burning fast pass, not really.
