Epcot fastpass change?

We're at Epcot February 29 and chose Living with the Land as our Tier 1 FP since Soarin is closed. Well, Josh at easywdw is saying the Land has only 5 minute waits, even with Soarin down. My question is do we do Test Track instead and only me and 5 year old ride while the 2 year old stays with dad?

It says don't ride it if you have high blood pressure (I'm on meds) so I'm a little worried. I never looked into it much because I was counting on Soarin' for my Tier 1 and we won't make it until Illuminations.

Definitely Test Track. It's really not bad, just a little jerky inside, then one outside portion in a fast open car.

You could FP it with your 5 yo, then get a rider swap pass and your husband could ride it with the 5 yo again.

You won't need a fastpass for living with the land. Definetly switch it up. I personally don't think Test Track is bad at all, I have family members with high blood pressure that go on it. However, only you can decide what you are comfortable going on. I would get the TT fast pass though now, you can always switch it to something else later but you won't be able to snag a TT one at the last minute, so better to secure ahead just in case.

I go to disney a lot and the only time I have seen living with the land with a long line ( 30 to 45 minute) was around the holidays ( I do think it got up to 60 if I recall right) but test track is that every day earlier it was a 120 minute wait and now 60 minutes I would do TT for the 2 that can ride it and maybe Living with the land for the 2 that do not want to ride it you can do it for the same time and then meet some where in the middle ( yes they are fair apart) or you could let your 2 yer old play in the car area of the exit of TT there are some pretty fun things back there

I've seen living with the land line get long around lunch time (with people going on either before or after eating at sunshine seasons).

Honestly it's what we always use our tier 1 on because adults can do TT single rider and my son doesn't like it (it's really loud outside the entrance when the cars go by and it scares him away every time).

I might pause...how high is your BP and how stressed do you get on speed rides? Test Track is not for the faint of heart who can't handle the feel of speed...and if you already have a really bad BP, it will likely not be a good ride for you...

Looks good. Be sure to go across the breezeway from the Character Spot to see Baymax! Do that first, no FP for him.

I would change to TT and then have the adult without the BP issues ride first especially if they have a good idea of what you can handle safely. It is really similar to riding in a convertible - 60 ish MPH at the fastest part, but again if your husband can ride first maybe he can recommend what you should do?

Either way you will all be able to ride LWTL and at least DH and the older child will have the opportunity to ride TT without a long wait by using the FP+ and then maybe the RS pass.

I think the Land won't be as busy with Soarin' down. I think a lot of people won't even bother going over there. Sunshine Seasons is good, but I don't think it can draw enough people to make the pavilion busy. I think the Land got busy before due to people killing time before or after riding Soarin', same with Sunshine Seasons. I don't think Circle of Life will draw many people either.

Oh no, I see no Fastpass for Baymax?? I thought that would be great, since he is in Character Spot. Why wouldn't they fastpass it? They had a fastpass for Character Spot last year? We waited to see him at HS last year and gave up, line was too long. What is up with Disney not getting how popular these characters can be? They did the same with Anna and Elsa couple years back. The line to see them in Norway was horrendous. Then they moved them to MK. Hope they are ready for the onslaught when they are back in Norway.

My husband has high blood pressure and is on meds as well and he does Test Track just fine. HOWEVER, the ONE person who can answer that question is your doctor. Show him/her a youtube of the attraction or describe it to him/her and have THAT PERSON advise you.

I am suggesting this because I didn't ride a single Disney thrill ride for five years because I have a broken neck (all fine, no one can tell) but I paid attention to the signs. Then we were going for a surprise trip with the grandkids and I asked the doctor is the neck was healed enough for certain attractions. He looked at my neck and how things were progressing and smiled and said, "at this point right now, I'm more concerned about you getting into a traffic accident here in Atlanta than I am for you going on a protected roller coaster at Disney World". I would have missed out going to a lot of things with my grandkids if I hadn't asked the one person who knew my medical condition.

I would caution you on the tight timing between your Test Track FP and Akershus ADR. We got stuck on Test Track (which has happened to us more than once actually) and were almost 30 minutes late for a ADR in Morocco. We got off the ride and sprinted, which if you are familiar with WS, is quite a distance. Disney being Disney, when we arrived they told us "Don't worry, this is Disney, it's OK!", so while we were lucky, the rushing around stressed me out. Test Track is often "down" which for us has happened twice while on it and at least once while waiting in line. Maybe hit it earlier and use your Nemo FP later after your lunch.
